Greater Works

I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father.  John 14:12 AMPC

There is nothing impossible to them who have and exercise steadfast believing faith.

For with God nothing shall be impossible. Luke 1:37 KJV

The ministry of “greater works” call to the heart of those in covenant with God in Christ. There is nothing natural about the supernatural child of God.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.   He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.   And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;   They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Mark 16:15‭-‬18 KJV

As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. Psalms 18:30 KJV

If the ways of God, found in the Word of God, are set aside for personal preferences the protection of God is removed.

Paid In Full

For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Romans 5:17 KJV

The rebellion (fall) of the first man, Adam, brought corruption, destruction, and death (spiritual and physical) to all of God’s creation.

The obedience of the “last Adam”, Christ Jesus restored what was lost in the “first Adam’s” fall to “whosoever will”; life, and life more abundant.

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:   That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.   For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.   For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.   He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:14‭-‬18 KJV

By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Hebrews 10:10By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Hebrews 10:10 KJV

My Song

It seemed good to me to show the signs and wonders that the Most High God has performed toward me. How great are His signs! And how mighty His wonders! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and His dominion is from generation to generation. [Dan. 7:13, 14; Luke 1:31-33.] Daniel 4:2-3 AMPC

Having lived without God, filled with pride, God came and revealed His great love by sending His Son. God primarily used three acquaintances to tell me about Jesus. Thank God for those bold enough to share their testimony and to proclaim the Word of God.

The Holy Spirit convicts of sin as the faith giving Word is preached, heard and received.

Now, “this hopeless case, this empy place” has received hope and been filled with God’s love, righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. Pride was stripped away and humble dependency upon God, rather than self, became the greatest strength imaginable.

One Nation

For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. James 3:16 KJV

Envy, strife, confusion, and evil have gripped our Nation by the purposeful plotting of corrupt, wicked, men and women under the influence of Satan (Lucifer) himself.

You and I, beloved, should neither be surprised nor fearful of these times in which we live. Our God foresaw this time and recorded it in the Bible.

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.  2 Timothy 3:1‭-‬7 KJV

We must continue to stand against the darkness of this depravity as light. We are called to preserve a righteous society as salt by continually proclaiming the good news of the Gospel and living holy lives until Jesus’ return.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Ephesians 6:10 KJV

Finally, my last word on this matter is, the bottom line is, “Be Strong in the Lord, and in the Power of His Might.”

When all is said and done we, beloved Christian, must cast all our care upon Him who holds all things in His power.

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 4:6 KJV
