And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
Luke 22:31 KJV
There is a devil and he seeks to destroy your eternal soul. He’s working aroud the clock to steal, kill and destroy God’s royal seed (you) through deceit, lies, and temptation.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10 KJV
Jesus has empowered you to live victoriously. Read the Bible, do what it says, commune with God in prayer daily, submit to God and resist the devil.
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7 KJV
Receiving Jesus for salvation is also giving Him your unswerving allegiance and service. You are no longer your own.
What? Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God, and that you are not your own? You were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 MEV
Guard yourself daily with the armor of God.
Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your waist girded with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, having your feet fitted with the readiness of the gospel of peace, and above all, taking the shield of faith, with which you will be able to extinguish all the fiery arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit always with all kinds of prayer and supplication. To that end be alert with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. Ephesians 6:11-18 MEV
