The Seed

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.  Genesis 3:15 KJV

The “Seed” promised to the first woman is none other than the Christ of God, Jesus, the Messiah of Israel and Savior of the world, the Word Incarnate, born in Bethlehem, the Only Begotten of the Father. This is what the Christmas celebration is all about.

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Promise

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.  Isaiah 7:14 KJV

The Promise, the Christ Child, the Messiah, Jesus, is celebrated on December 25th each year.

The “Seed of the woman” promised to Adam and Eve after their shameful rebellion against God gives hope to all who come after them.

The Love and Faithfulness of God is heralded around the world by the faithful who have received the “Gift” of God into their hearts and lives.

It is, indeed, a Merry Christmas!

Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Colossians 2:7 KJV

“Bloom where you’re planted” is a saying that holds great truth.

Firstly, it acknowledges that each of needs to be planted in a particular place. Way too many “Christians” either refuse to be planted,  refuse to put their roots down, or choose where they will be planted.

Christians are not their own. They were bought with a price and the Husbandman [Jesus] holds the right to plant each one as He wills.

Once planted in the local church of His choosing, it is each individuals responsibility to become well rooted there in order to bloom and bear much fruit.

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.  John 8:32 KJV

It has been said, and rightly so, “If you repeat a lie often enough, it will be accepted as truth”.

Mis-information leads to mis-conceptions which leads to mis-understanding, mis-leading stereo-typing, distrust, close minded intolerance, unfounded fear and unreasonable hatred, which leads to divisiveness and destructive action.

And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. Mark 3:25 KJV

And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: Matthew 12:25 KJV

Listen to the spirit of anti-Christ spewing its divisive rhetoric with words like, “deplorable, irredeemable, racist, islamophobic,  homophobic, mysogynic,” etc..

Can two walk together, except they be agreed? Amos 3:3 KJV

The dehumanization of groups of people by elitest, power hungry globalists, is a tool of the devil to “steal, kill, and destroy” the unity of Christians and Jews and the nations they love and support.

It is time to discuss differences, mediate disputes, find common ground based on truth.

Agreement comes with understanding. Understanding comes from open minded dialogue. Dialogue is only useful when seeking truth. Truth is liberating.

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Psalms 119:11 KJV

The Word of God must dominate our thought life or we will continually find ourselves falling short (sin) in our relationship with the Lord.

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV

When His Word holds dominion in us we walk in harmony with God. Then, and only then, will we yield to His plan and purpose for our lives and enjoy the promise given to Jeremiah:

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord , thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.  Jeremiah 29:11 KJV

Who We are

Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. Hebrews 10:38-39 KJV

No one will ever taste the sweetness of success or victory if they grow faint hearted and weary and then give up and quit.

Stick-to-it-iveness, perserverance and endurance in faith is required to achieve in this life and receive the winners crown in glory.

We, the followers of Christ Jesus, are not quitters. We are more than conquerors and overcomers in the sight of God.

That’s Who We Are.
