Do you need a miracle? Do you believe God wants to give you your miracle? Receiving is followed by Believing. Attend your next Christian assembly with a believing heart and see what happens.
Miracles For Today
In the first twelve verses of Mark 2 we find the words: Why reason about these things in your hearts? Whether it is easier to say to the sick …, Your sins be forgiven you; or to say, Arise, and take up your bed, and walk? But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins, … I say unto you, Arise, and take up your bed and go your way…. There is much ado today about whether Jesus is still in the healing ministry. The critics say that miracles passed away with the Apostle John. I’m so glad that this is just not true! Each and every service, whether here in Las Vegas or in Guatemala, Ghana, the Philippines, or any other Nation, is punctuated with the manifest Presence of God! When the Lord of Glory shows up in the Person of the Holy Ghost anything can happen! Why should we think it such a strange thing that God Almighty would visit us as we assemble? Isn’t it written in Scripture?:
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Matthew 18:20
Does God, the Holy Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) care about demonstrating His marvelous love for us? Yes! He does!
… he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. John 14:21
The manifest presence of God in our lives will heal, deliver and save the lost and encourage every believer.
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:13-14
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7
How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation. Daniel 4:3
Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands. Acts 14:3
God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? Hebrews 2:4
By the above scriptures we can see that the “normal” Christian life should be accompanied by signs, wonders, diverse miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost! If this is true (and it is!) then the “normal” Christian church service should be filled with these same occurrences! It is not “abnormal” to have God’s Presence manifest in church it is the Christian “norm” even though many assemblies have forgotten this simple truth.
As we assemble, let’s come expecting to meet with God and to receive our, or a friend’s miracle!
