Lift Your Voice

Lift Your Voice

Psalm 59:16 (NKJV) But I will sing of Your power; Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; For You have been my defense And refuge in the day of my trouble.

Is the Lord your strength, comfort, and power? Then, lift your voice and sing aloud! Are His mercies new every morning toward you? Then sing aloud to Him! Has He been your defense and refuge in the day of trouble? Then, sing aloud and declare His all sufficiency toward you.

Our God is a speaking God and so, then, a listening God. He loves to hear His children laugh, shout and sing. He thrills at the sound of your voice.

He is all powerful and, therefore, is able to empower us for every good work, to move victoriously through every storm of life, and to beat every foe that stands against us. How can we but sing aloud of His power?

Isaiah 54:17 (NKJV) No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD.

His mercies are new every morning and we are given each new day to live and move and have our being in Him. How can we but sing aloud about Him?

Psalm 89:1 (NKJV) . . . I will sing of the mercies of the LORD forever; With my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness to all generations.

The Lord is a defense, a fortress, a shield, and a refuge.

Psalm 18:2 NKJV) The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

How can we but sing aloud to, and about, Him? Come on. Give it a try. Sing aloud for all to hear. The Lord takes pleasure in the praises of His people.
