Christmas Legacy

Luke 1:48 (NKJV) For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant; For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed.

The Virgin Mary understood that she was going to leave a legacy because of her yieldedness to the will of God and the subsequent birth of her Son.

Luke 1:31-33 (NKJV) 31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS. 32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. 33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”

You, too, were born to leave a legacy. Your life is not just yours alone. It is the beginning of a legacy that will be played out in your progeny. Sons, daughters, grandsons and grand-daughters, and who knows how many generations that follow.

Your legacy will be that of instilling the love and life of God in your family lineage, producing successful, productive, joy-filled people who come to a a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. The opposite is unthinkable.

God’s Christmas Gift to you is that of hope, righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost, prosperity and good health. These and many more precious promises are yours as you receive the Gift of God’s Son and follow on to know Him.

You don’t have to be the Virgin Mary to have “all generations” calling you “blessed.” You need only avail yourself of the riches in glory by Christ Jesus and instill their preciousness and value to those who will follow you.
