Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, Romans 16:25 (KJV)
The Christmas season is designed to lure the inquisitive into a revelation of the mystery of the ages: God Incarnate. The historical story of He who always was, is and will be, contained and constrained in the womb of a virgin birthed upon the earth.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)
The Mystery, μυστηριον musterion, the hidden thing, secret, mystery of God and His plan that was set in motion in the secret counsels which govern God in dealing with the righteous, which are hidden from ungodly and wicked men but plain to the godly.
It’s no wonder, then, that Satan wants to eliminate every mention or semblance of Christmas from the minds of human kind. Isn’t it wonderful to know that there is nothing he can do to remove the wonder of the birth of Christ from the believer’s heart?
Romans 8:35, 38-39 (KJV) Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
It was the good pleasure of God to reveal the mystery of His Son and redemptions plan to us and nothing can steal that from us!
Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: Ephesians 1:9 (KJV)
And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: Ephesians 3:9 (KJV)
