The Gifts of Christmas – Peace

“..the Lord will bless His people with PEACE.” Psalm 29:11

Poems are written, prayers are offered, negotiations conducted, and treaties instituted to obtain peace. However, the only peace on earth is to those in whom the Prince of Peace abides. Jesus, the Christ of God, is the One spoken of in the book of Isaiah:

Isaiah 9:6 (KJV) For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Jesus, the God Man, will bring a peace that passes all understanding, a peace that those of the world will never taste of. He promised to give those who come to Him in faith believing His own supernatural peace.

Philippians 4:7 (KJV) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

John 14:27 (KJV) Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

If you haven’t already, won’t you ask Him into your heart and make Him Lord of your life today? Don’t live through another tormenting moment. Don’t live without Him another day. He loves you beyond your ability to comprehend and will quickly come and indwell you if you but ask.

Your life will be flooded with “the peace of God, which passes all understanding.”

How, you may ask?

Simply pray according to the following verses:

Romans 10:9-10 (KJV) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
