You Have A Right

You Have A Right!

In this day of everyone insisting on having their rights, I am amazed that more people aren’t clamoring to know their God-given right to know what He says:

You have a right know what Scripture really says.

You have a right to find out what God is doing TODAY!

You have a right to be where God is manifesting Himself.

Critics of the “Pentecostal” or “Charismatic” outpouring tend to brand people who have experienced the “Baptism of the Holy Spirit” as religious fanatics and deplore their form of worship as being too “emotional”.

When will the Church realize that Pentecost is not a Denomination but a Divine gift given to empower her?

Most opinions regarding “tongues” are formed by traditional prejudices that have no real basis in Biblical Christianity. What these historical persuasions are blinded to is that a genuine Pentecostal Baptism of the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking with other tongues, is an exhilarating experience that enhances the believer’s communion with God.

Do all speak with other tongues when they receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit?

Yes!!! Emphatically, Yes!!!

Check the Scriptural Record for yourself:

What Biblical personalities spoke with other tongues?

The Apostles did- (Acts 1:13; 2:1-4; 11:15-18)

The Mother of Jesus did- (Acts 1:14; 2:1-4)

The Samaritans did- (Acts 8:14-20)

Cornelius, kinsman, and friends did- (Acts 10:44-48)

The men at Ephesus did- (Acts 19:1-7)

Paul, writer of over half the New Testament did- (Acts 9:17-19; 1Cor 14:18,39)

Why did God choose speaking with other tongues as the physical evidence of the Holy Spirit baptism?

Isaiah 28:11 For with stammering lips and another tongue He will speak to this people,

1) God is sovereign. He does not consult man for approval.

2) God’s ways are not man’s ways.

3) It is an outward sign of an inward experience much like that of water baptism.

4) Speaking in other tongues “edifies” the believer.

5) Tongues is a “sign to the unbeliever”.

6) He who speaks in tongues “speaks mysteries and hidden things to God.”

7) It’s coming was promised.
