So Then And those who belong to Christ Jesus (the Messiah) have crucified the flesh (the godless human nature) with its passions and appetites and desires.

As I look at what is considered by many to be Christianity, I ponder the unconditional requirement of our verse today.

How many professing followers of Christ do you know who are living holy lives?

Much of what I see is a cheap, self-serving rather than Christ serving, imitation filled with syncretism (mixture of belief that accommodates anything and everything.

So then, what is needed? Repentance, true conversion (salvation), and Christlike, Christ serving, living.
