It’s Beginning

Just a Little Water

Just a little water brings the desert alive. The rains have come again and again to soak the dry desert land. With rains like we’ve been having, the cactus will put on a show next spring that will put the fireworks of the Fourth of July to shame. The whole earth declares the Glory of the Lord:

And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. Isaiah 6:3 (KJV)

So it is with the water of the Word as it falls on the dry places of the heart like rain. The rain of the Spirit quickens the Word of God as it is spoken and brings life, and life more abundantly to those upon whom it falls.

Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the Lord our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest. Jeremiah 5:24 (KJV)

Harvest rains are falling from the Father above awakening our hearts toward the lost of the nations. As we are renewed, revitalized and refreshed by the winds of the Spirit we are more able to move in the fields ripe for the time of ingathering.

The fire of Pentecost burns brightly once again. Tongues of fire speak life giving spirit words to those with ears to hear. Supernatural power flows from the midst of covenant communion with our God and King.

There is a freshness, a powerful sense of the Presence, of our God at Wellspring. This is a new season. This is a new day. Everything that has hindered is removed. The Spirit of increase is settling in.

Together we will be filled to over-flowing with the presence, power and potential of God.
