The Wind is Blowing
The wind of God is blowing across the land. There is a stirring in the heart of man that can only come when Holy Ghost winds are moving. It is God beckoning His own to come to Him as He deals with the enemies that have held them captive.
Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself. Exodus 19:4 (KJV)
The delivering wind of God lifted up His own and brought them safely to Himself on “eagles’ wings” of faith.
Satan has come like a flood to destroy everything and everyone that he can. Our youth, families, and friends are under attack. There is hopelessness on almost every face as the darkness of moral decay leaves it’s mark on the already parched soil of the human heart.
Humanity is standing with a great flood tide of darkness on the one side and the armies of Satan pursuing like Pharaoh on the other. It looks hopeless.
But God, as always, has a plan:
When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. Isaiah 59:19 (KJV)
Deliverance is In the Wind
The standard at the Red Sea was the delivering wind of God that parted the waters. The people of promise passed through to safety and then beheld their tormentors destroyed before their very eyes.
Just as the winds of God brought an end to the destruction of the great Flood of Genesis, so shall the wind of God bring an end to the destructive flood of Satan.
. . . and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged; Genesis 8:1 (KJV)
Beloved, no matter how your circumstance or situation looks – You are to take heart! No matter how hopeless things appear. Lift up your face and look unto the Lord! As you look away to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith, you will begin to feel the wind of the Spirit stirring around you. You will be refreshed, renewed and strengthened.
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
Wait upon the Lord! Stretch out the rod of your faith; stand and see the salvation of the Lord as He moves upon the chaotic waters of your life with the wind of His Spirit (the breath of His mouth)!
