Faith Comes

Faith Comes

Faith does not come automatically by osmosis.

You can’t get faith by hanging around people who have faith, unless, of course, they are speaking the Word of God because that is the only way supernatural faith comes.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17 (KJV)

This is the kind of faith that we are to have.

And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]. Mark 11:22 (AMP)

We are to have a supernatural faith in God. Some translations even say, “Have the faith of God.” Only God can give that kind of faith. It comes by hearing His Word.

Faith does not come by having heard either. It comes by hearing. A fresh new impartation of faith comes every time you hear the Word of God spoken.

Faith grows. It must because scripture reveals that there is “little faith” and “so great faith” and some are even “rich in faith.”

There is victory that overcomes the world for those who are born of God and listen to the Word. It is one wrought of faith:

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 1 John 5:4 (KJV)

There is no way to please God without faith and He rewards those who seek and have it.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)

Put yourself in a position to hear the Word of God as often as you can and you will find your faith growing strong. What seemed impossible will become possible and fear will flee away before the faith “that works by love.” “. . . faith which worketh by love.” Galatians 5:6 (KJV)
