All of humanity is born into a natural world and have the nature of this corrupted world. No matter how they try to be “good” and “do the right thing” they cannot satisfy the demand of God to be holy. Our holiness, or righteousness, is likened to “filthy rags” (used menstrual clothes).
This is all a result of the first man and woman rebelling against God and breaking their covenant with Him. The rebellious nature and separated condition then passed down from generation to generation.
For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Romans 5:17 (KJV).
But as this verse says, when you yield to the Lordship of Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, you become a new creature and His righteousness becomes yours.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:21 (KJV)
God originally intended for mankind to be supernatural and eternal.
Man’s rebellion striped him of his eternal qualities and supernatural enablements and left him in a “natural” condition. However, before the foundation of the world God, foreknowing the fall, had a plan to redeem man in, and through, His Son Jesus, the “Lamb slain from the foundation of the world,” to make him a new supernatural creature once again (Rev. 13:8 KJV).
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. Galatians 6:15 (KJV)
You, Beloved, if you are born-again, are a supernaturally enabled, eternity destined, demon destroying, child of God.
You are now naturally supernatural!
