Commitment = 1 dedication to a cause or policy. 2 a pledge or undertaking. 3 an engagement or obligation that restricts freedom of action. Sincere and steadfast fixity of purpose
Binding yourself (intellectually or emotionally) to a course of action; dedication, loyalty.
Isaiah 50:7 (KJV) For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
It’s time for every Christian to grow up, step up, and step out into the fields of harvest all around us. It’s time to let our light shine. It’s time to be a city on a hill that can be seen.
Jesus gave His all to redeem us. Can we do less for Him? Jesus gave all of His time, energy, and talent to reach the lost. Can we do less?
The trumpet has sounded and we are called to the muster gate to be counted. The army of God cannot be A.W.O.L. in this great battle for the souls of men.
It’s up to you and me. It will take sacrifice and unwavering commitment to the cause of Christ. There is no other life once a person has committed to be a soldier. The war has to be won and it commands all of our attention.
The church must be built. The army must be trained. There is no time to waste. Selah!
