A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. Proverbs 151 KJV
We are in a volatile crisis in these days where many people are “lovers of themselves” more than lovers of God as they should be.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2 Timothy 3:2-5 KJV
The “tolerant” are intolerant of all who disagree with them. Those who disagree with the “politically correct” narrative are accused of being “intolerant” and, therefore, verbally attacked and abused.
Is it any wonder that people are becoming more and more frustrated and angry?
We, Christians, need to learn how to lovingly, clearly, and firmly speak softly the Wisdom of God.
As President Theodore Roosevelt said, “Speak softly, and carry a big stick”.
