Honesty

Open rebuke is better than secret love. Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.  Proverbs 27:5-6 KJV

Lying to deceive, pretending to care when you don’t, or allowing those close to you to rush headlong into danger because of an error in their perception is criminal.

Somene who has real love, God’s love, would rather honestly express themself and risk rejection than keep silent. Such a person is transparent and, therefore, trustworthy.

Those who are fortunate to have an honest friend are most blessed.
