He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth. Proverbs 10:17 KJV
If you are unteachable you are unreachable, unpreachable, and unuseable.
Learn to listen with an ear to hear.
He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. Matthew 11:15 KJV
If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. Mark 4:23 KJV
The most heartbreaking thing for a parent or a pastor is when their charges ignore their words of God’s wisdom. This is what the word “ignorant” means: Refusing to be teachable.
The refusing to be teachable is deeply rooted in rebellion towards God Himself.
No wonder God said:
Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house. Ezekiel 12:2 KJV
It is time to repent, turn away from the destruction of rebellion and yield to the instructions of the Lord. Hear and be blessed. Be “good ground” and receive the seed of God’s Word.
And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. Luke 8:8 KJV
