“For there is hope for a tree, if it is cut down, that it will sprout again, and that its tender shoots will not cease. Though its root may grow old in the earth, and its stump may die in the ground, yet at the scent of water it will bud and bring forth boughs like a plant. Job 14:7-9 MEV
Hopelessness is crippling. There is nothing that will give place to spirits of oppression, despair, addiction and suicide than a loss of hope.
But God sent His Son, Jesus, to restore hope to the hopeless, bring help to the helpless and faith to the faithless.
After Jesus rose from the dead He sent the Holy Spirit to comfort, encourage, strengthen and guide those who would receive Him as Lord and Savior.
No matter how hopeless you think your situation or circumstance is, just the slightest whiff of the Holy Spirit will quicken you and cause faith and hope to arise in your soul.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 MEV
Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away. For if I do not go away, the Counselor will not come to you. But if I go, I will send Him to you. John 16:7 MEV
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 MEV
But when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own authority. But He will speak whatever He hears, and He will tell you things that are to come. John 16:13 MEV
