Truth

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1 MEV

How do we know what is true or not? If it’s not biblical it’s not truth. Sometimes what is true at the time is perceived to be absolute but What is true at present may not be in the next moment. What is true, therefore, can change but the truth of God’s Word is eternally true.

People can be swayed by those who mingle what is true, or not, with the truth. This is how demonic spirits work through individuals to control the multitudes.

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 2 Corinthians 10:3 MEV

To be Bible literate, to be well versed in the Bible, is to be protected from destructive error. Knowing what the Bible teaches is absolute truth and that is how deception is avoided and well being is insured.

Spirits are tested by what they promote; Christ or anti-Christ, Bible or philosophy, truth or error.
