Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Philippians 2:2 KJV
The last place in the world where there should be strife would be in the church. Unfortunately, many don’t consider patience and loving-kindness to be a necessary virtue.
Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Philippians 2:3 KJV
People gather in church to worship God, of course, but they also gather in what should be a safe place among fellow believers. This should be a time of refreshing joyful service.
Mature Christian godliness should be noticeable in the lives of the people, especially the leaders.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23 KJV
God’s unconditional love should be manifest at every gathering.
(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. Ephesians 5:9-10 KJV
If you want to make your pastor happy, get along with each other.
