You have given me the shield of Your salvation, and Your right hand has held me up, and Your gentleness has made me great. Psalms 18:35 MEV

Whether it is an individual that repents and yields to the Lordship of Jesus the Christ, or a nation that is governed by those who have, protection, freedom, and greatness are the result.

Just as personal peace and well-being come from the Lord so too does a people that acknowledge the Lord find societal peace and well being.

Consider the following words from the book of wisdom:

When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increases; but the righteous will see their fall. Proverbs 29:16 MEV

When the wicked rise, men hide themselves; but when they perish, the righteous increase. Proverbs 28:28 MEV

When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people mourn. Proverbs 29:2 MEV

Let’s be great again and rule in righteousness.

“One Nation Under God”

Behold, I am the Lord , the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
Jeremiah 32:27 KJV

No matter what things look like, have faith. It’s not over until God says it’s over.

God bless America!

For thou, Lord , wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. Psalms 5:12 KJV

The Bible is full of God’s promises to bless, favor, prosper, and defend those who know and honor Him.

America’s greatness lays in the faith of her people as refered to in our declaration, “One Nation Under God” and “In God We Trust”.

The Constitution of these United States is based upon God’s Word and is written for a righteous people. In fact, it will only work for those who reverence God and those live peacefully under its umbrella.

When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. Proverbs 29:2 KJV

Let us ever be a righteous people who maintain the righteous in authority.

For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: As free, and not using your liberty for a cloak of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. 1 Peter 2:15‭-‬16 KJV

Christian men and women came to the shores of this land called America with a desire to establish a nation whose sole King was God.

The dream has not yet been perfected but its premise is perfect. True freedom only comes when the heart is emancipated from the bondage of sin by the shed blood of Christ Jesus.

Only a people whose God is the Lord can be free without “a cloak of maliciousness”.

“We the People” are meant to be “the servants of God”. Only as we rise to our calling will our nation survive.

Faith without corresponding action is lifeless. James 2:18

Fearless Confidence

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.  Hebrews 10:35-36 KJV

Christianity is under attack from within and without.

The Modernists and Hyper-Calvinists teachings are watering down the Word of God and de-deifying the Christ of the Bible.

The Secular “Progressives” and pro-Islamists have joined forces to overthrow our Constitution and drive Christians into the four walls of their church buildings while legislating from the bench laws that will totally eradicate Christianity from the face of the earth.

Islamic Jihad will ultimately turn on the secularists too and torture or behead them if they will not covert to Islam.

Wake up, Christian Soldier! We’re in a war. It is not a time for idolizing personal comfort, it’s a time for spiritual war and social activism. It’s time to let our voices be heard. It’s time to be salt and light whether it’s popular or not. It’s time to vote, even if it’s for the “lesser of two evils”. Your actions, your life-style today determines your children and grand children’s future.

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:  (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)  Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;  2 Corinthians 10:3‭-‬5 KJV

Love Never Fails

But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
Luke 6:27-28 KJV

Perfect love casts out all fear.

The way to heal the challenges that face American society is to return to the God of, Issac, and Jacob, and His Son, Jesus the Christ.

The color line is washed away in the blood of Jesus. Hatred, of any kind, has no place in the kingdom of God. Fear is banished and courage is instlled in every believer.

Let’s ponder our verse again and let it permeate our souls.

But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.  Luke 6:27-28 KJV

Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.  Colossians 3:13 KJV

This is the formula for unity and peace.

Forbearing one another requires us to esteem one another higher than ourselves.

Forgiveness demands that we recognize God as the only righteous Judge.

Walking in love is manifest by forgiving any, and all, hurtful words or deeds to the point they no longer torment you.
