Anointed

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Acts 10:38 KJV

The anointing of the Anointed One is in you so that you, too, can go about doing good and healing all that are oppressed of the devil.
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:  Colossians 1:27 KJV

God, Who cannot fail, is with you, in you, and for you!

A Joyful Shout

He brought out His people with joy, And His chosen ones with a joyful shout,
PSALM 105:43 AMP

Joy is the victory shout of faith that will route the enemy arrayed against you.
C.S Lewis said, “Joy is the serious business of heaven”. This is a great truth every Christian must be aware of.

He who sits [enthroned] in the heavens laughs [at their rebellion]; The [Sovereign] Lord scoffs at them [and in supreme contempt He mocks them]. PSALM 2:4 AMP

God laughs at your [His] enemies because of their utter impotency to harm you or alter His decrees.

The Lord laughs at him [the wicked one–the one who oppresses the righteous], For He sees that his day [of defeat] is coming. PSALM 37:13 AMP

So, cast your cares on the Lord and join Him in “the serious business of heaven” and laugh the devil to scorn.

New Things

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:19 KJV
This year your wilderness experiences will receive the rain of heaven and the rivers of the Holy Spirit will bring life, strength, and fruitfulness into your life.

The discouragement caused by 2016’s disappointments will fade away in the light of 2017’s blessings. The former and latter rains are falling together to usher in the greatest harvest imaginable.

Don’t let your past experiences distract you from what God is wanting to do in your life.

Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God. [Ps. 110:1.]  Hebrews 12:2 AMPC

Extraordinary

image

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled, and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.  Acts 4:13 KJV

Jesus makes extraordinary the otherwise ordinary.

The Word is living and powerful and will transform anyone. It is able to make one wise.

The old saying, “Read the red and pray for power,” still works. There is nothing normal about the normal Christian life. For the Christian, normal is not enough.

Jesus came to give “life, and life more abundantly”

Anointed

Anointed

God has absolute authority. All other authority is delegated and subservient. Unregenerate man only thinks that he has that kind of authority. What authority he is allowed to exercise is, and always will be, subject to God. Anointing is what gives us the right to use the authority of God. Anointing is the release of the authority, power & dominion of God.

You, beloved, as a child of God have delegated authority. It is a higher authority than that which Satan stole from Adam [man] and that which is allowed unregenerate man.

Power is the exercise of authority. To be able to exercise power one must be in a place of dominion. Dominion is the place or position of authority. Only the Born-again child of God abides in the place of dominion. This can be seen as we read over Ephesians 1:3-13, 21; 4:6; Matthew 26:64; Mark 14:62; Hebrews 8:1; Hebrews 12:2

Our position is in Christ Jesus, Who is in the place of dominion, which is at the right hand of the throne of God. This is the position of power and authority. Christ is the Anointed One [the One authorized to exercise Authority, Power and Dominion over all]. Isaiah 61:1; Luke 4:18 (KJV)

“. . . the LORD hath anointed meĀ . . .”

He is [and we are in Him]:

Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: Ephesians 1:21 (KJV)

Authority

Authority

Authority is given to those who are under authority. The Centurion of Matthew Eight who had come to seek healing for his servant understood this great truth:

The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. Matthew 8:8-10 (KJV)

He was a man who understood that Caesar and all of Rome was backing his orders to the men who were entrusted to his leadership. It was easy for him to understand that Jesus was a Man who had Almighty God and all of Heaven’s authority behind Him.

So many professing Christians strain at the thoughts of being under submission or under authority when it is the only way to the anointing [authority to use the power of God]. Remember, Jesus never did, or said, anything that He did not hear the Father say. He lived to please His Father. He was completely under submission [authority]:

Then said Jesus unto them,… then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. John 8:28; 14:10 (KJV)

Rest & Refreshing

This is the Rest . . .

For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. Isaiah 28:11-12 (KJV)

Everywhere the Wind of the Spirit of Life [Rom. 8:2; Rev. 11:11] is blowing fresh new vitality into the Church of the living God. Reports come from near and far of the sweeping changes that are taking place over the whole globe. Wherever there are believers that are hungry and thirsty for the things of God there is a fresh breath stirring earthen vessels to renewed life!

The Spirit of Truth [John 14:17; John 15:26; John 16:13] is stripping away the scales of deception that have been held in place by tradition, and lack of teaching. He is sending His anointed ones to proclaim and teach revelation truth so that the Body of Christ might have the vision of God.

Where there is no vision [no redemptive revelation of God], the people perish. Proverbs 29:18 (AMP)

Pentecostal outpouring is flowing into every denominational group, shattering decades old strongholds and releasing the army of God to move in the things of the Spirit of Holiness and Resurrection [Joh. 11:25; Rom. 1:4; 8:11].

“Olde tyme” Revival is hitting planet earth!

This is the Refreshing . . .

This army speaks with other tongues! They have entered the rest and refreshing of moving in the power of God instead of the power of man. They have been equipped for the campaign at hand by the Holy Ghost! The weapons of their warfare are not carnal but are mighty! [2 Cor. 10:4]

Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 4:6 (KJV)

Jesus commanded His followers to be filled with power from on high before they went into the world to minister [Acts 1:2; Acts 1:4-5; Acts 1:8]. They were not going to be ordinary people any longer. Their task was going to require supernatural ability. God had chosen them to demonstrate the resurrected Christ just as He has chosen you and me in these last days.

These people have no fear in them for they have received the Spirit of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. [2 Tim. 1:7]

Believers, Spirit baptized believers, have the manifestation of the Presence of the Spirit of the Lord accompanying them.

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Mark 16:17-18 (KJV)
