Let us not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but let us exhort one another, especially as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:25 MEV

Church assemblies are vital to the Christian life. God meets with His beloved people in a special way when they come together.

The filth of the world is washed away and faith comes by the hearing of the Word preached. Each is encouraged by the presence of the Holy Ghost and the other saints of like precious faith.

Let there be a Great Awakening take place in your life as you press in to know the Lord of Glory.

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world. Romans 1:8 KJV

Surround yourself with like minded people. Reach out to those who oppose you.
You and I need each other. We are strengthened and protected by our company. A company, made up of platoons and squads, are arrayed for battle against a common foe. So the Church is made up of companies called the local church. We do not fight nor stand alone.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12 KJV

When the going gets tough we need to gather with our own company like Peter and John did:

And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them. Acts 4:23 KJV

Find your company.

The House

Lord , I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth. Psalms 26:8 KJV

There is no place I would rather be than in the house of God, enjoying His presence and worshipping with His people.

I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord . Psalms 122:1 KJV

I am firmly convinced that when we return to loving and honoring the house of God, the local church, our country will begin to heal and peace and prosperity will return.

The Lord’s Day

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:25 KJV

Our God honors those who honor Him. The greatest honor we can show Him is to present ourselves and our families to Him on “the Lord’s Day”.

We present ourselves as living sacrifices to Him while bringing our tithes and offerings with thanksgiving in our hearts.

This does not diminish our need to honor Him daily as we seek His face in the Word and prayer.

The assembly is a life changing encounter with the King of glory and His people.

I’m looking forward to seeing you in church!

I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord . Psalms 122:1 KJV

Love Covers

For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  Galatians 5:14 KJV

God loves diversity. If you don’t think so just look at the various colors and features of people and the rest of creation. How many different kinds, shapes, sizes, and colors of birds are there? Everywhere you look in creation is great variety (diversity).

Why, then, do so many fall into the demonic deception of prejudice and hatred?

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.   For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  John 3:16‭-‬17 KJV

Our call is to love each other with the same love and care that God has for us.  Do what Jesus did. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil. He extended the hand of  mercy and loving kindness to all. Even those who hated Him.

This, Dear One, will heal our nation.

Where were you Sunday? Does the question anger you? Upset you? Disturb you? It’s something to consider, don’t you think? After all, God seems to think the assembly of believers is important, especially in these last days.

There is nothing that I enjoy more than being in the presence of God and His people where the life giving Word is preached, the Holy Spirit is allowed to move, and Jesus is honored and revealed.

It is not religious exercise. It is developing a relationship with Jesus and His church that glorifies the Father.

Oh, I know, not all “Christian” gatherings are based on the Word of God and attended by His Spirit. It is our responsibility to find and support a church that is a “pillar and ground of truth”.

Find it, Attend it, Build it, and Support it.
