Recon Yourself

Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:11 KJV

Reckon Yourself.
Condider Yourself.
Let the “Old Man” Go!
We are a new, supernatural species. Not who we were!

We have got to get over draging the old man aroud with us.

He’s gone! Dead in Christ.

Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:11 KJV

Can’t repeat it enough!

Waters of Life

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:19 KJV

Like the old song says, “There is a River that never will run dry”.  Jesus is the source of that river.

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. John 6:35 KJV

No matter how empty, hopeless, or dry and lifeless you feel your life is, receiving Jesus into your heart and life will fill you with hope, vitality, and meaning that will refresh your soul.

Jesus is calling you today:

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 KJV

Great Awakening Glory

For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord , as the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2:14 KJV

The day will come when the population of the whole earth will come to a knowledge of the glory of God. This is a new earth truth that will come to pass during the Millennium.

First, however, this prophetic occurrence will take place very soon. Like so many utterances of the prophets, there are, sometimes, multiple fulfillments.

The outpouring of God’s glory will be known during the Great Awakening that is about to break upon the whole earth.

Get ready. Get ready. Get ready.

Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.  Psalms 143:10 KJV

Serve the Lord with gladness! There is no greater cause and no greater joy than to walk in the will of God for our lives.

God is always good and serving Him will always bring great reward. If we would each follow on to know Him in and through Christ we would fing ourselves in “the land of uprightness”.

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. Colossians 3:23‭-‬24 KJV

It is so easy to fall into the trap of compartmentalizing our lives into spiritual and secular times. Too many think church is spiritual but their job or business is secular. This midset tends to leave the Lord and the Holy Spirit’s guidance out of the equation.

God wants to be included in everything we do and never shut out of our daily labors or recreation because every facet of life has spiritual significance.

When you receive Jesus as Lord and Savior you are no longer your own. You were bought with a price, the precious blood of Jesus.

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?  For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Corinthians 6:19‭-‬20 KJV

Consider this as you go about your daily life.

There is a way to walk in peace.

Jesus, our Lord, is the Prince of Peace. He has provided Himself as the Source of a peace that passes all understanding.

How this becomes the reality of our life is found as we bring every thought captive and look away from all that distracts unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of faith.

What becomes clear and distinct in our lives is what we focus on and talk about. Failure or success, fear or faith, unforgiveness or forgiveness, hate or love, mistrust or trust, hopelessness or hope, all depend on our words for power to perform.

Control your thoughts by controlling your tongue. Speak what the Bible says or say nothing. Then you will walk in peace.

The Secret Place

There is a place in God that the natural, carnal, unregenerate, man has no knowledge of. It is a “secret place” known only to the people of believing faith in Christ.

The “secret place” is a place reserved for the word loving, praying, faithful disciples of Jesus, the Christ of God.

It is in the “secret place” that the believer is covered with the shadow of Him who is the light much as the Hebrews were covered by cloud in the day and a pillar of fire at night.

It is in this place that ” no weapon formed against you shall prosper” and your enemies will be confounded.
