And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron’s head, and anointed him, to sanctify him. Leviticus 8:12 KJV

The anointing sanctifies (sets apart unto God’s service). It is never to be polluted by a sinful life-style. It is never to be taken lightly.

Dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savour: so doth a little folly him that is in reputation for wisdom and honour. Ecclesiastes 10:1 KJV

It only takes a little folly (a little sin) to corrupt the anointing.

But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 1 Peter 1:15 KJV

Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. Hebrews 13:17 KJV

A true pastor does not choose to be one. The office is not one that is by the choice of man but by the choice and call of God.

A pastor must watch over the souls entrusted to him and is held responsible by God Himself. He is answerable to no man, but is totally accountable to God.

His is a supernatural ministry gift enabled and empowered by none other than the Holy Spirit.

His authority is God given and he is anointed for the task.

Never take it upon yourself to be what God has not called you to be.

But, never run from His call upon your life.

Go! Teach!

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Matthew 28:19 KJV

The Great Commission is simply to seek and save the lost at any cost. The command to go is to all who bear the name of Christian.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.   He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Mark 16:15‭-‬16 KJV

Understanding the lost condition of mankind and having compassion for them should compel us to reach all that we can. The heart of the Father is that none be lost.

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? Romans 10:14 KJV

Go! Teach! Preach! It’s your calling.

And his armourbearer said unto him, Do all that is in thine heart: turn thee; behold, I am with thee according to thy heart.
1 Samuel 14:7 KJV

God’s vision is always bigger than any one person can fulfill. He wants as many people involved as possible. Every called leader needs armor bearers who will take up and pursue the same vision. Without them the vision will fail to materialize.

No one can fulfill God’s call on their life without loyal, dedicated, armor bearers. I thank God for each one God has placed in my life!

Just as “the people perish for lack of vision”, so, too, the vision perishes for lack of people. Every position in the body of Christ is as important as another.

For the body is not one member, but many.  If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?  And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?  If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?  But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.  And if they were all one member, where were the body?  But now are they many members, yet but one body.  And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. 1 Corinthians 12:14‭-‬21 KJV

Find your place and be faithful to it. God will bless you as you do.

Time to Speak

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17 KJV

How shall they hear without a preacher? If saving faith comes by hearing the Word of God, and it does, then it’s  your time to go and proclaim the good news of the gospel.
If faith to walk a victorious life filled with righteousness, peace, joy, health, prosperity, and power comes by hearing the Word of God, and it does, the don’t you think you might want to be in church more than once a week or whenever you feel like it?

Remember, Pastors are given to you to equip you with supernatural ability.

But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.  Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.  And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;  For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:  Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:  That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;  Ephesians 4:7‭-‬8‭, ‬11‭-‬14 KJV

Hear all the life giving Word you can.

Act Upon It

Truly, truly I say to you, he who believes in Me will do the works that I do also. And he will do greater works than these, because I am going to My Father.  John 14:12 MEV

If Jesus said it, and He did, then we should press in to it with every fiber of our being.

Jesus said it, I believe it, and that settles it!

Study the Scripture and learn to know the voice of the Spirit. Then yield to His direction. It’s that simple.

There are three who testify in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and the three are one. 1 John 5:7 MEV

Don’t let your mind and emotions talk you out of what you know in your spirit and you will move freely in the realm of the supernatural with signs, wonders and miracles following you.

Remember, we are called to a life of faith and obedience.

And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 2 Corinthians 5:18 KJV

Abate the hate. Don’t get caught up in the divisive rhetoric of those being manipulated by the spirit of anti-Christ.

Very trying times are ahead. We, as Christians, must be fed by the Word and led by the Spirit in these last days.

Powerful spirit forces are feverishly working to drive a wedge of misunderstanding, fear, distrust and hatred between groups of people and even individual believers.

It’s time to be the reconcilers we are called to be . It’s time to guard our hearts and actively work to bring understanding and unity to the whole body of Christ.
