Choose

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 KJV

God is calling for you to make a choice. It’s a choice that will change your whole life for the better and insure a glorious eternity.

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
Deuteronomy 30:19 KJV

The choice is to live this life in rebellion to God and His Word or to submit to Jesus the Christ, God’s provision for you.

You see all have been born with a sin nature and are separated from God.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23 KJV

You see, the first man, Adam, rebelled against God and lost fellowship with Him. God sent Jesus, His only begotten Son, the second Adam to undo the damage done.

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 1 Corinthians 15:22 KJV

We all must be born again to be freed from the bondage of sin. Jesus explained our need this way:

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
John 3:5‭-‬7‭, ‬16‭-‬20 KJV

Death, Hell, and the Grave

For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. Psalms 86:13 KJV

There is a hell to shun and a heaven to gain. Jesus tasted death, hell, and the grave so that you and I don’t have to.

See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; Deuteronomy 30:15 KJV.

God would that you choose life.

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: Deuteronomy 30:19 KJV

Not For Everyone

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Romans 8:1 KJV

Why is it that that Christians believe that every promise in scripture is for them irregardless of their life-style?

The covenant promises are actually only for those who honor and walk in covenant with God.

His great and precious promises are only given to those who are not only in Christ but to those are also walking after the Spirit rather than carnally.

To claim Christ as Lord and Savior but to live willfully walk after the flesh is to block the benefits of salvation from being manifest.

The result of disobedience is to walk in guilt, shame, insecurity, and condemnation.

Walk in a loving relationship, be married to the Lord, and you will receive every promise as “yes and amen” and you will walk in covenant confidence.

Choose Life

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 MEV

God wants you to choose life in Christ Jesus. He wants everyone to choose to spend eternity with Him.

I call heaven and earth to witnesses against you this day, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; Deuteronomy 30:19 MEV

You see, there is a literal, eternal, hell to shun and a literal, eternal heaven to gain. Our choice on earth establishes our eternal future.

Receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior must be accompanied with loyal, faithful, service to Him.

If you love Me, keep My commandments. John 14:15 MEV

Start the New Year right.

Choose

But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith the Lord .
Jeremiah 12:17 KJV

God is calling the people of our great nation to return to Him, the God of our fathers, before He must destroy us. Our Constitution is a biblically based document suitable only for the governance of a righteous people.

The evil seen manifest in our city, nation, and the world is the result of godlessness.  It is the result of a people who have turned their back on God and His Son, Jesus the Christ.

The heart of man is exceedingly wicked without the Lordship of Christ Jesus and the conviction of the Holy Spirit. All need a supernatural heart trasplant.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;  Romans 3:23 KJV

Our only hope to save the civilized world is to repent and yield to God in Christ.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV

Salvation

The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.
Isaiah 9:2 KJV

Jesus – Israel’s Messiah  – Savior of the world.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.   For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  John 3:16‭-‬17 KJV

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9‭-‬10 KJV

Dominion

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Psalms 119:11 KJV

The Word of God must dominate our thought life or we will continually find ourselves falling short (sin) in our relationship with the Lord.

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV

When His Word holds dominion in us we walk in harmony with God. Then, and only then, will we yield to His plan and purpose for our lives and enjoy the promise given to Jeremiah:

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord , thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.  Jeremiah 29:11 KJV
