Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
Joshua 1:9 KJV

Perfect love casteth out all fear..
God is Perfect Love.

Therefore, according to the command of God, You should be Fearless! After all He has promised to be with you.

House of God

I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the Lord .” Psalms 122:1 NKJV

Why go to church? Why gather together to worship as a family?

The local church is the highest ecclesiastical authority on planet earth.

It is the place God has chosen to meet with His people.

It is the pillar and groung of truth.

It is the greatest faith builder where the Word is heard.

It is the place where the people of God encourage and strengthen each other.

It is where families are knit together and affirmed.

It is a healing place and a place of deliverance.

Most of all, we assemble together to declare that we honor, reverence, respect, love, and obey the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Not Your Own

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?  For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Corinthians 6:19‭-‬20 KJV

How is life going for you since you believed? Don’t you know that there is much, much more in God than what you are experiencing?

Most Christians say a prayer of repentance from dead works and commit themselves to quit living for themselves and to start living in and for Jesus. Then what?

Way too many slip back into a syncretism of worldly Christian living; picking and choosing what parts of God’s Word they are willing to obey.

Living the Christian life carnally ultimately leads to destruction.

Other things like work, family, sports, and recreation take first place in life when God and His kingdom should come first and foremost. After all, we have nothing in this life but what He gives us.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33 KJV

All the things we hold so dear will separate us from God and His blessings if He and His kingdom are not our passion and priority.

If you are truly not your own, doesn’t it stand to reason that you should be living for Him and not for yourself?

It’s  not too late to put Him, His house, and His ways first.

And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 2 Corinthians 5:18 KJV

Abate the hate. Don’t get caught up in the divisive rhetoric of those being manipulated by the spirit of anti-Christ.

Very trying times are ahead. We, as Christians, must be fed by the Word and led by the Spirit in these last days.

Powerful spirit forces are feverishly working to drive a wedge of misunderstanding, fear, distrust and hatred between groups of people and even individual believers.

It’s time to be the reconcilers we are called to be . It’s time to guard our hearts and actively work to bring understanding and unity to the whole body of Christ.

Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.  Philippians 2:3 KJV

The love of God is all inclusive. So should our love and care for one another be the hallmark of our faith.

One Nation

For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. James 3:16 KJV

Envy, strife, confusion, and evil have gripped our Nation by the purposeful plotting of corrupt, wicked, men and women under the influence of Satan (Lucifer) himself.

You and I, beloved, should neither be surprised nor fearful of these times in which we live. Our God foresaw this time and recorded it in the Bible.

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.  2 Timothy 3:1‭-‬7 KJV

We must continue to stand against the darkness of this depravity as light. We are called to preserve a righteous society as salt by continually proclaiming the good news of the Gospel and living holy lives until Jesus’ return.

Christian Love

Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Romans 12:9-10 KJV

The times in which we live reminds me, somewhat, of the “flower children” of the 60’s. “Love” was the BIG thing of the day. Today there is a similar, and possibly more destructive, emphasis on “love” without borders.

The “love” of today has swept the “church” world and has, supposedly, done away with any need to answer to anyone or anything, including God and/or His Word.

This, dear one, is heretical and damning to those who embrace its licensiousness.

Real love has boundaries that are set by God for the benefit of His creation. Deceptive and deceitful is love without justice. God is unchanging and will ever be both Love and the Righteous Judge.

If we expect to live in His house we must live by the rules of His house and esteem those who do.
