Peace On Earth

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. Luke 2:14 KJV

The angelic declaration of the good will of God toward men included all of humanity. The promised peace on earth would only be realized by those who received Jesus, the Prince of Peace, in their hearts and lives.

It is the inner peace that passes all understanding no matter the circumstance or situation. It is supernaturally given peace that flows from the love of God through Christ.

No Jesus, no peace. Know Jesus, know peace.

Accept and receive the gift of God, His Son Christ Jesus, this Christmas Season. It’s the best gift you’ll ever receive.

But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:8‭-‬10 KJV

Merry Christmas!

Wise Men

Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Matthew 2:1 KJV

I wonder how many of us would leave, family, friends, our businesses or employment, and travel for two years to encounter the Christ?

Wisdom dictates that we do, but how many are as wise as the wise men of the biblical record?

Rare are those, in this day, who will travel twenty or thirty minutes to assemble together with other believers to worship the King of kings and Lord of lords.

But, wise men still seek Him.

Wise men also bring gifts to Him at holy the altar of the house of God ( the local church).

And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. Matthew 2:11 KJV

As it is written:

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Malachi 3:10 KJV

Today, wise men will have prepared their holy tithes and offerings and traveled to worship Christ Jesus in the house of God.

Merry Christmas!

Oh, Christmas Tree

Oh, Christmas Tree, speak to me.

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: Galatians 3:13 KJV

The Christmas Tree reminds me of Jesus’ sacrifice for me. He became cursed so I might become blessed.

And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many. Mark 14:24 KJV

The red ornaments cause me to think of His blood shed for the remission of my sin.

Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah. Psalms 24:10 KJV

The purple ornaments remind me that Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; Hebrews 3:1 KJV

The blue ornaments speak of His being my heavenly High Priest.

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:15 KJV

The white ornaments speak of His holy sinless nature and life.

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.  And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.  And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.  For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:8‭-‬11 KJV

It’s  no wonder that an angel is seen atop the Christmas Tree  for angels did announce His virgin birth.

Oh, Christmas Tree, what a story you have to tell.

Christmas Is About Christ

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Matthew 1:18 KJV

The conception of Mary, the mother of Jesus was a supernatural act of the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit). It brought about the birth of the Only Begotten Son of God.

Jesus was born a human without a sin nature because His Father was the Holy God Almighty. He was very God and very man. God sent His Son to redeem whosoever will receive Him.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:17 KJV

To Celebrate Christmas is to Celebrate the birth of the Messiah of Israel and Savior of the world.

And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.  And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,  Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. Luke 2:9‭-‬14 KJV

Christmas Miracle

And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. Luke 1:35 KJV

Think about it: Jesus, our Savior, was conceived of a virgin overshadowed by The Holy Ghost in fulfillment of a prophesy given hundreds of years earlier.

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14 KJV

The Creator of everything sees to it that every word He speaks comes to pass in the exact time that He purposes.

The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:  Isaiah 14:24 KJV

And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe. John 14:29 KJV

Receive the gift of God’s saving grace, Jesus the Christ, this Christmas season. It’s the Gift that lasts forever.

One Thing

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 1 Timothy 2:5 KJV

These two eternal truths are so simple, yet so profound. They are also inseparable. There is no wsy to know God with out knowing Jesus, His only begotten Son.

Jesus, Himself, is recorded as stating the following:

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 KJV

Give yourself a gift this Christmas. Receive the gift of righteousness, peace and joy this Christmas season. Receive Jesus as Lord and Savior and get to know Him.

No Jesus, No peace. Know Jesus, know peace.

Christmas Now

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.  Matthew 1:21 KJV

What a glorious season! The gift of God’s Son is still being offered to whosoever will reveive Him. Believe me when I say that Jesus is still the best Christmas Gift ever.

I lived 32 years blind to the truth of the Gospel of Jesus the Christ of God. Now, at 75 years of age I can tell with no reservation that nothing so good, and certainly no better, has ever touched and changed my life like Jesus being my Lord and Savior.

He is the Prince of peace in my life. Why not ask Him into your heart today? There will never be a better time.

Merry Christmas!
