Fulness of Time

But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, Galatians 4:4 KJV

God spoke in times past of the One that would come and destroy Satan’s hold on man. He also set times of visitation that would come to pass.

The birth of the Messiah of Israel and Savior of the world was one of those predetermined times.

Jesus, the Son of God, born of a virgin came at the appointed time to fulfill His work as the sacrificial Lamb of God.

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Revelation 13:8 KJV

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1:29 KJV

Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. Revelation 5:12 KJV

Merry Christmas!

Oh, Christmas Tree

Oh, Christmas Tree, speak to me.

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: Galatians 3:13 KJV

The Christmas Tree reminds me of Jesus’ sacrifice for me. He became cursed so I might become blessed.

And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many. Mark 14:24 KJV

The red ornaments cause me to think of His blood shed for the remission of my sin.

Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah. Psalms 24:10 KJV

The purple ornaments remind me that Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; Hebrews 3:1 KJV

The blue ornaments speak of His being my heavenly High Priest.

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:15 KJV

The white ornaments speak of His holy sinless nature and life.

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.  And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.  And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.  For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:8‭-‬11 KJV

It’s  no wonder that an angel is seen atop the Christmas Tree  for angels did announce His virgin birth.

Oh, Christmas Tree, what a story you have to tell.

Unspeakable

Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.2 Corinthians 9:15 KJV

The gift of God’s Son is the “unspeakable gift”. The love of God expressed is beyond expression.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.   He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.  John 3:16‭-‬18 KJV

How can one explain the magnitude of the love of God extended to those are His enemies?

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 KJV

Let’s remember this Christmas season that it is all about one thing: God sending His Son Christ Jesus our Savior, Lord and King to seek and save those who are lost.

For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.  Luke 19:10 KJV

Merry Christmas!

And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. Luke 2:6‭-‬7 KJV

This historical fact will forever change the course of countless lives.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

We thank God upon every remembrance of you. You are loved and we are praying for you.
May your Christmas be blessed and your New Year be prosperous as your soul prospers.

Believe God’s Word. Trust Jesus. Do what He tells you. Fulfill your calling. Expect the best.

Worship Him

And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.  Matthew 2:11 KJV

Wise men still seek Him and worship Him with bended knee and material gifts.

After all, we owe Him everything yet cannot pay the debt we owe. He paid the penalty for our sin because we could not.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  Not of works, lest any man should boast.  Ephesians 2:8‭-‬9 KJV

Jesus is our King, High Priest, and Sinless Sacrifice for sin.

Bring Him a gift today and worship Him in His house, the local church.

Merry Christmas!

Coming

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.  Hebrews 9:28 KJV

Christmas is the Celebration of His First Coming.

Just as promised by God to Adam and Eve, the first man and woman, Jesus was born in the fulness of time. This has always been understood as the first coming with the second coming looked forward to.

He Is Coming Again!

Merry Christmas!
