No Weapon

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Psalms 91:5 KJV

No weapon shall prevail against you! Period!

God never slumbers nor sleeps. He is always watching over you.

Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. Psalms 121:4 KJV

Brother

Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Deuteronomy 31:6 KJV

Alexander the great would gather his soldiers and honor the most valient in battle by embracing them and declaring, ” This man is my brother.”

What a friend we have in Jesus. He sticks closer than a brother. Yes, when you ask God to walk through life with you He will never desert you nor will He fail you. In fact, He will fight your battles for you.

For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother. Mark 3:35 KJV

Advocate

Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost (completely, perfectly, finally, and for all time and eternity) those who come to God through Him, since He is always living to make petition to God and intercede with Him and intervene for them. Hebrews 7:25 AMPC

Jesus is God the Father’s gift to whosoever will receive Him. In Him is access to the Father and His throne of grace.

Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.
John 14:6 AMPC

In Him is eternal life. In Him is a covenant relationship that includes all of the promises God made to Abraham and the constant companionship of the Holy Spirit.

Also, as a believer, you will always have Jesus as your Advocate in the court of heaven and in the affairs of life.

Blessings abundant.

Our Warfare

Not Against Flesh

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)
Have you ever been kicked to the wall by a minister of the gospel? God forbid, but all men and women who are “Ordained” are not necessarily that sweet spirited.
We know that all are in the process of sanctification. Doctrinally, we were sanctified at our moment of salvation, we are being sanctified as we walk our salvation with fear and trembling and, when we stand before Him, we shall be sanctified.
It seems that the more wounded a person may have been, and the more unable to truly forgive those who wounded them they are, the more they wind up rending and wounding others. Nothing is more dangerous than a wounded wild animal. They become enemies to all they encounter.
Our “adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” 1 Peter 5:8 (KJV). Though, none of us wants to acknowledge that a devilish spirit (demon) can have any influence on us, it is a simple truth that to deny the possibility is the door of deception.
Knowing this should cause us to apply Matthew 5:44 (KJV) to those situations where we are met with a spirit that is other than Christ like. “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.”
Ever be mindful that “we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Our battle is not with people or personalities. Keeping this in mind will always cause the love and grace of God to modify any fleshly behavior that we may be tempted to display.

The Lord Is

The Lord Is

Psalm 18:2 (NKJV) The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Even the Psalmist casts a picture of Jesus, the Christ, with the carefully chosen words that he uses to encourage and strengthen himself. Jesus is the Rock of our salvation, and by inference, can be seen as the object being spoken of: He is Jehovah’s means of salvation, rescue, way of escape from calamity, and defender who comes for our well being, safety, security, prosperity and victory.

It is by virtue of the indwelling Christ that anointing fills the life of the believer and thus is our salvation with all that covenant state includes.

The Lord is, the great I AM, the Lord is, my rock, cela’, my high and lofty stronghold of YHWH, and my fortress, matsuwd, safety net of defence, and my deliverer, palat, way of escape to safety and security, my God, ‘el, my Immanuel, the one true God who is the Mighty One of Israel, my strength, tsuwr, my Mighty One, the stone the builders rejected, in whom I will trust, chacah, into whom I will flee for protection and make my refuge; My shield, magen, my armed defence and buckler, the horn, qeren, the container of the oil of anointing (the Anointed One and His anointing), of my salvation, yesha‘, He is my salvation which is my welfare, prosperity, victory, and safety, my stronghold, misgab, my secure high place of refuge in God.

The Lord Is! He always was, and is, and ever will be.

Revelation 4:8 (NKJV) The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!”

He changes not and will always be your hiding place of safety, security, well-being, prosperity, and victory. God is good; All the time!
