Promises

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Titus 2:11‭-‬12 KJV

All the promises in Christ are yes and amen to those who deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, who live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; not just anybody.

Questions?

The teaching that Jesus came to liberate us from restrictions and make it ok to live a sinful life-style is simply not biblical.

Grace delivers us from all destructive ploys of the devil and the fallen nature and empowers us to live holy.

Alcohol In The Pulpit

It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink: Proverbs 31:4 KJV

I was an alcoholic when I was born-again in July, 1973. It wasn’t long after that when the Spirit of Truth quickened today’s verse to me.

I was reading my Bible and had just read Proverbs 31 when He asked me, “Who are you?”, and it hit me, “I am a king.”

And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. Revelation 5:10 KJV

I was delivered from alcoholism at that very moment and have not had a drink of any kind of alcoholic beverage since. I won’t even take communion with alcoholic wine. Grap juice is unfermented and pure.

Beloved of God, don’t be deceived, even a little alcohol is a hook with which the devil will ultimately destroy you. Why would God deliver me if it is good for you?

Christians need the Holy Spirit, not drugs and alcohol. If you’ve fallen into the devil’s snare repent and flee alcohols lure while you can.

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Ephesians 5:18 KJV

Abstain from all appearance of evil.  1 Thessalonians 5:22 KJV

Anointing

And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. Isaiah 10:27 KJV

The yoke destroying, bondage breaking, supernatural power of God is available now. The Anointed One and His anointing resides in every true believer. Jesus is the Emancipator!

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. John 8:36 KJV

Believe it! Receive it! Release it! Set the captives free!

Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.  2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV

Fear

For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and love, and self-control.
2 Timothy 1:7 MEV

Unnatural fear is the result of a demonic spirit. Trauma of some kind, or being influenced by a person full of fear, can open the door to be oppressed or possessed by a spirit of fear.

If you have uncontrollable fear crippling your life you can be set free in the name of Jesus. Jesus came to set you free!

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; Luke 4:18 MEV

Remember, God is Love.

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. Whoever fears is not perfect in love. 1 John 4:18 MEV

Therefore if the Son sets you free, you shall be free indeed. John 8:36 MEV

My Debt

By oppression and judgment he was taken away, and who shall declare his generation? For he was cut off out of the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was struck. Isaiah 53:8 MEV

Jesus, the sinless Son of God, paid our sin debt in full.

Our credit cards were maxed out and the collectors were hounding us daily. We had no way to pay and the debtors prison was our only future.

Then, a stranger heard of our plight and paid our cards off in full.

So is the truth of Jesus sacrifice on our behalf.

As the old song says,

“He paid a debt He did not owe; I owed a debt I could not pay; I needed someone to wash my sins away. . . Christ Jesus paid a debt that I could never pay”
Don’t let Jesus remain a stranger. Get to know Him today.

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart.” This is the word of faith that we preach: that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved, for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:8‭-‬10 MEV

Free From Bondage

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.  Galatians 5:1 KJV

Every person who yields their life to the Lordship of Christ Jesus is set free from the bondage of sin and the fear of death.

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;  And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.  Hebrews 2:14‭-‬15 KJV

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:22‭-‬23 KJV

We are a free people with power over the devil through Christ’s unsurpassing victory at Calvary’s tree.

Deliverance

Those who follow Jesus should be demonstrating His resurrection power by signs, wonders, and miracles.

Jesus came to save, heal, and deliver. His Presence in you will manifest the same ministry and results as you yield to the Holy Spirit.

Mark 16:15-18 gives the marching orders for every true believer:
“… Go ye into all the world, and preached the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents;and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

Our call is pretty plain isn’t it? All we need do is go forth and we are assured that we will have “the Lord working with (us) and conforming the word with signs following.”

Amen!
