I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Psalms 32:8 KJV

Our God  teaches, instructs, and guides us by His Word and Spirit if we will but let Him.
And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord ? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. 1 Samuel 15:22 KJV

It is willing obedience that brings blessing.

God rewards diligent seekers and calls His own those that keep His commandments.

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.   He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me. John 14:23‭-‬24 KJV

To the obedient is the promise “I will guide thee with mine eye”  and “my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.”

Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Colossians 2:7 KJV

“Bloom where you’re planted” is a saying that holds great truth.

Firstly, it acknowledges that each of needs to be planted in a particular place. Way too many “Christians” either refuse to be planted,  refuse to put their roots down, or choose where they will be planted.

Christians are not their own. They were bought with a price and the Husbandman [Jesus] holds the right to plant each one as He wills.

Once planted in the local church of His choosing, it is each individuals responsibility to become well rooted there in order to bloom and bear much fruit.

A Hearing Ear

Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end. There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord , that shall stand.  Proverbs 19:20-21 KJV

How can we do what we do not hear?

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Jams 4:7 KJV

Resisting the devil is futile until you submit yourself to God.

The power released by Christ’s victorious death, burial, and resurrection is only available to the born-again believer that submits himself to the Word of God (the Bible). Once, however, the child of God yields to the Lordship of the Savior the defeat of the devil is guaranteed.

An unsurpassing victory is the reward of loyal obedience. God is the Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. Hebrews 12:11 KJV

Not many of us likes to be corrected; particularly by someone that we aren’t especially fond of.

However, if we are wise we will consider every correction, every instruction, and every chastisement as an opportunity to learn, improve, and live successfully.

The word of God is our greatest life coach. Its wisdom is of more worth than any human counsel. God is all wise and He wants to teach you and I His wisdom and knowledge. His thoughts and ways are far beyond our thoughts and ways.

Let Him correct and teach you and your life will filled with righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. He will, then, promote and prosperity you.

And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.  2 Timothy 2:2 KJV

Where are the faithful men? Will you be one?

Someone once asked, “Where are the spiritual Fathers?” My question has been and is, “Where are the faithful sons?” The spirit of rebellion that is sweeping the world is permeating the Church.

While driving through various cities in our beautiful country I noticed that, for the most part, sports club parking lots are filled with cars on Sunday’s while church lots are sparsely filled.

The focus on physical fitness over moral training along with its  exercise of righteous endeavor is bringing about the overall collapse of our once great nation. This has to change.

Every Christian must heed the call to build the kingdom of God, take up their cross, and follow Jesus into the harvest field of lost souls. Each one must lead their families, friends, and co-workers to a saving knowledge of Christ and active participation in their local church.

Fill the church parking lots with individuals and families whose hearts have been transformed by Jesus and restore thereby the exceptionalism of America before it is too late.
