Faith Of Jesus

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8‭-‬9 KJV

Your faith came, and comes, by hearing the living Word of God. It is the faith of, and in, Jesus the Anointed One. You see, God always provides what will please Him. All we need do is receive and respond.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.  Romans 10:17 KJV

And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: Philippians 3:9 KJV

Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. Ephesians 4:31‭-‬32 KJV

If you don’t- He won’t.

Now, that’s something to think about, especially for all the haters out there.
Even if you have actually been wronged, hurt, etc, the Bible demands that you forgive.

Only God has all the facts and can judge rightly. Be quick to forgive and let God handle things from there.

The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed. Psalms 103:6 KJV

Grace Abused

Ye have wearied the Lord with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the Lord , and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?  Malachi 2:17 KJV

There is no sweeter theme than the grace of God but God’s grace is not a license to live sinfully.

However, that seems to be the chant and rant of the modernist, hyper-Calvinists today.

The truth about the hyper-grace “gospel” is that it is not true. Satan has deceived many “Church leaders” and their gullible followers with this toxic self-pampering message.

While it is true that God’s love is unfailing we must acknowledge that He is holy and just and must judge unrepentant sin. He has said, “Be holy for I Am holy”.

If your lifestyle does not line up with what is clearly declared in the Bible you need to repent and align yourself with it’s dictates.

Don’t be deceived. You are not an overcomer until you overcome in the power of the Spirit of Christ. Conquerors are only those who have fought and won. Champions are only those who have won.

Grace allows you to enter the good fight of faith and win if you wage a good warfare.

Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.  Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.  But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? James 2:18‭-‬20 KJV

For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.  Jude 1:4 KJV

God said, “Be holy for I Am holy”. Jesus said, “If you love me, keep my commandments”.
Grace is the unlimited love of God extended to whosoever will unto salvation.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  Not of works, lest any man should boast.  Ephesians 2:8‭-‬9 KJV

Grace is unmerited favor that proceeds from God who is Love. Grace is never license to sin. Grace allows imperfect man to grow in grace unto mature manhood in Christ. Grace gives space for sanctification to take place in the committed disciple of Christ who is becoming conformed to the full measure of the stature of Christ.

We should never despise nor abuse the gift of God’s grace.

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.  Romans 12:3 KJV

Once you develop great faith, remember who gave it to you.

The simple truth is that we have no saving faith or daily supernatural faith that has not been given by God.

Scripture clearly tells us again and again that we have been given the “Faith of Jesus” and “that not of ourselves, lest any … should boast”.

To say, “I have no faith,” when you claim to be a believer is to say that has God lied. That means it’s time to revisit 1 John 1:9, accept forgiveness and cleansing and get on with life.

Oh, that takes faith doesn’t it?

God Sent

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.  John 5:24 KJV

God sent Jesus to give life, and life more abundantly.

Only when you “hear” the word He speaks will you receive forgiveness of sin, access to, and acceptance by, the Father, and eternal life in Christ.

I’m speaking of hearing in the sense of receiving revelation of who Jesus is and  yielding to Him as both Savior and Lord. As you know, you can hear sound and not comprehend what is being said.

May your hearing be that which brings saving faith and abundant life both now and forever.

God’s Grace

Grace is unmerited favor, God’s loving kindness, manifest for all to see.

Grace is seen in the Person of Jesus, the second Person of the Godhead, the firstborn of many brethren. He who was in the beginning with God, was God, and without Him was nothing made that was made, became Man so that he could give Himself a Ransome for many.

Jesus came to pay a debt that He did not owe and a debt we could not pay. Our righteousness is as filthy rags. In other words, we can never be good enough to approach a Holy God (Ephesians 2:8, 9).

God imputes Jesus’ righteousness to us when we receive His gift of Grace.

No man can come to the Father but by Jesus. He is the only way.

If you haven’t already, receive Him now. It will change everything.
