Wake Up!

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 Timothy 3:1 KJV

Wake up! Consider the general condition of our society at large.

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 2 Timothy 3:1‭-‬4‭, ‬7 KJV

Sound familiar?

Only Jesus can change the heart of man and restore God’s righteousness, peace and joy to his nature.

It’s time to turn to God in Jesus the Christ, the Messiah of Israel. Only believe and confess Him as Lord.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9‭-‬10 KJV

Last Day Behavior

Know this: In the last days perilous times will come. Men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, slanderers, unrestrained, fierce, despisers of those who are good, traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God, having a form of godliness, but denying its power. Turn away from such people. 2 Timothy 3:1‭-‬5 MEV

Sound familiar?

One does not need to have a degree in social science, psychiatry, or psychology to see that people have slid into an unrestrained moral abyss.

Whether you believe it or not, we’re in the last of the last days foretold in the Scriptures and like the days of Noah, before the great flood, judgement is coming.

It time to repent and call on the Lord for mercy.

That Day

If ever it was “that day” today is that day. The unadulterated Gospel needs to be declared to the ends of the earth.

Whole societies, our society, have sunk into the quagmire of moral decay because there is no accurate knowledge of God, His name or His deeds.

One of the most honoring ways to praise Him is to declare His name and His deeds to your family, friends, co-workers, and acquaintances. Another is to call upon Him this day, everyday for guidance and to praise Him for it.

Let your heart “sing to the Lord” this day for this day is “that day”. Your Lord God “has done excellent things” and will continue to do so through out eternity.

Praise the Lord! Declare His deeds! Make the people remember!

End Times

Today, or tomorrow, may not be “the end of the world” as many are saying. But, be careful that you don’t lose sight of the simple truth that judgement will come when it’s least expected and at its appointed time.

Don’t ignore the pending end just because, like Chicken Little, there are those who are screaming, “The sky is falling”. We need to be living as though this is our last chance to tell our family, friends, and the world the good news of the gospel.

Live for Jesus like this is your last day on earth and plan as though you have forever. This is a healthy tension that will keep you ready for ” that day” while you plan to live out your life for many days.

When He Speaks

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hebrews 1:1 (KJV)

When the Lord spoke there was a dramatic change in this realm. He spoke and there was the creation of that which He said; “Let there be . . . , and there was. As His realm responded to His words so, then, did this natural realm.

Let them praise the name of the Lord: for He commanded, and they were created. Psalm 148:5 (KJV)

After mankind was created He (God) spoke to, and through, His prophets. They spoke to realms, regions, rulers and ranks and brought about events that changed history. This method of Divine intervention continues to this day.

You and I are to commune with the Lord (seek Him in His word and in prayer) until we know His mind and then we are to speak what He wants to bring to pass. This is what is meant in 1 John 5:

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. 1 John 5:14-15 (KJV)

When we spend enough time with Him to know His will in a matter, we can confidently decree the word of the Lord and know that He watches over His word to see that it does what it is meant to do. (Jeremiah 1:12)

We Are To Hear and Obey

And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. 1 Samuel 15:22 (KJV)

You and I are expected to ask, seek and knock until the doors of divine revelation open, until we have met with the Lord, and we have the answer to that which we have inquired. Once we have the answer, or an understanding of our Father’s plan and purpose, we are expected to set in motion it’s fulfilment by speaking it forth.

The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord God hath spoken, who can but prophesy? Amos 3:8 (KJV)

In order to operate in the prophetic, one must be willing to move in prompt obedience to the word of the Lord. The miraculous breaks into the frame of time and space at appointed seasons at the Lord’s sovereign choosing. It is necessary to move quickly to the promptings of the Spirit of the Lord lest the time pass during which the seed of the word can be planted or it’s produce harvested.

Search the Scripture and seek His face as never before. These are the final hours of the last days and much needs to be brought into place. There are multitudes in the valley of decision that need the prophetic wind to sweep over and stir them. Many are the details which need to be set in place by prophetic decree to facilitate the soon return of our Lord.
