Walk In Love

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2 MEV

God is Love. Those who are His are expected, in fact, commanded, to walk in love.

For the entire law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Galatians 5:14 MEV

The Love walk moves us outside of ourselves and we begin to see the needs of others. We are then moved with compassion to help, encourage, and strengthen them.

Let the Holy Spirit lead you in a life long love walk.

Growing Up

Better is an open reprimand [of loving correction] Than love that is hidden. Faithful are the wounds of a friend [who corrects out of love and concern], But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful [because they serve his hidden agenda].

Growing up and seeking truth is what people are suposed to do. The whole idea of “Safe Space” is a devilish, destructive, kiss from the enemy of your soul to keep you from developing into a mature adult who walks in integrity and confidence.

But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

Hear, Believe, Speak, and Do the Word of God.

The faith of Jesus to believe comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Roman’s 10:17).

Receive it and believe it in your heart. Then, make it yours by speaking it and acting like it’s yours now. Continue to make your profession of faith until you have what you are believing for.

It’s a work of faith which is abiding in the rest of God that comes from knowing that He’s working everything out.

Then, whatsoever He says, do it!

I believe that each one of us wants to make our mark in this life, to leave a legacy of some kind. This desire is often fulfilled by writing a book, fashioning a sculpture, painting a picture, building a structure, or instructing the next generation.

While all these things are good and fulfilling, only what is done in Christ is of any real eternal value. Like the rain that falls on the earth, the fruit of it only lasts a season and then it withers and dies.

God’s offer of salvation in Christ Jesus is only offered and available in this brief time period we call life. The saved are eternally saved and the lost are eternally lost. There is no reversal of choice.

Choose you this day whom you will serve. God sets before you death and life and desires that you choose life.

The secret of a fulfilling and fruitful life is living a life of selfless service. “Give and it shall be given” is the life principle  that guarantees that “you reap what you sow.”

Selfish self centeredness is a life-style path to bitterness, loneliness, and depression. Selfless service is the path to contentment, friendships, and vision for your future.

Christians are called to serve. They are blessed to be a blessing and promised increase to be able to give more. They are given the heart of God to reach the lost and to serve humanity, especially their fellow Christians.

You will succeed to the degree that you help others succeed. Investing in others is investing in your future. Serving others is what it means to be Christ like.

To reject God’s gift of His Son, Jesus the Anointed One, is to condemn oneself to eternal death (damnation). This is simply living life in the natural while ignoring or fighting against God.

The result of such a life does not just affect one’s eternal destiny but causes one to live a life of questioning, doubt, fear, turmoil, unrest, corruption, and desperation.

Those who receive God’s gift and follow Him realize life and life more abundant in this life and life hereafter. The secret of a fulfilling and abundant life is in following Jesus and His Gospel, being not just hearers of His Word but doers of it.

This does take laying down ones life, dieing to self, and living for Him. That is yielding ones whole being to the cause and service of Christ. There is no greater joy nor more satisfying life.

Our lives should glorify our Father in Christ through the Holy Spirit. There should be no room for mediocrity in anything we say or do. Like a city on a hill we should be seen by all as a point of reference that leads to a saving knowledge of Jesus.

People should be able to see that we are Christian by what we talk about, where we hang out, what we do, and how we act at home and in public. It’s easy to talk the talk and not walk the walk. It’s foolish to think that we can be one thing in public and another in private. Our private life will always show up in our public life.

A double minded person should never deceive themselves into thinking that God is going to give them anything. He is sworn to care for those who are in covenant with Him and to stand against those who play around on Him. Believe me; He knows the difference.

Don’t be deceived by the modernist preachers. Living a repentant life-style is still what God requires. As one preacher said recently, “You can’t have the grace of God without the God of grace”. Jesus makes disciples, not buddies. You and I cannot be “a friend of God” and be friends with the world. Covenant works both ways.

Let your life be light to a dark world by living in a manner that will glorify God.
