He Loves you!

The Lord your God is in the midst of you, a Mighty One, a Savior [Who saves]! He will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest [in silent satisfaction] and in His love He will be silent and make no mention [of past sins, or even recall them]; He will exult over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17

Oh, how He loves you and me!

You just have to believe it!

The Name

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 KJV

There are names many that claim divine attributes. Allah, Moroni, Krishna, Bhudda, to mention a few. None have the sanction or endorsement of God Himself. It was only of Jesus that He gave His approval.

While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.  Matthew 17:5 KJV

And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.  And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:  And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Mark 1:9‭-‬11 KJV

God set the way of salvation solely in the Person of His Son Jesus.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.   For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.   He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:16‭-‬18 KJV

Secrets

The Secret of the Lord

Psalm 25:14 (NKJV) 14 The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.

Did you know that the Lord has secrets? These secrets, cowd, are found in the council of Him with whom you are familiar, in the secret counsel of the assembly, or company, of God and His own.

These are those who fear Him. The word fear, yare’, speaks of those who hold a reverential awe or respect for God. They hold this regard for Him because they recognize Him as God Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent. In other words, we’re talking about believers in Jesus Christ. How can I say that? Because the Bible tells us that no one can know God or come to Him but in and through Jesus the Christ.

John 14:6 (NKJV) Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Further, the Lord gave command to every believer that they receive the promise of the Father and be endued with power so that they could speak with Him about the mysteries, or secrets hidden in His heart.

Acts 1:4 (NKJV) And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me;

This “promise” is known to be the baptism with the Holy Spirit which is evidenced by speaking in tongues. It is these who speak with the supernatural tongues of men and of angels that speak the mysteries, or secrets, of God.

1 Corinthians 14:2 (NKJV) For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.

These “mysteries,” musterion, are secrets confided only to the believer and not to ordinary mortals. These are hidden things not obvious to the understanding of the natural mind.

Jesus, the Messiah of Israel and Savior of the world is the “mystery” hidden from the foundation of the world and in Him are hidden the secrets of the heart of God the Father revealed only to those who are in covenant relationship with Him.
