But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
James 3:17 KJV

Speaking what God’s Word says is never hypocritical. No matter what the situation, the circumstance, or the condition, it must align with the revealed will of God. That will is declared in the Bible.

The wisdom of God is available to all who ask. He gives without partiality His “pure, peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated” wisdom freely.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. James 1:5 KJV

Begin to ask today and tap in to the genius of Almighty omniscience.

Thus saith the Lord the maker thereof, the Lord that formed it, to establish it; the Lord is his name; Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.  Jeremiah 33:2-3  KJV

Can you hear the Lord calling? Get quiet and listen to His still small voice within. “Know you not you are the holy of holies of God, and His Spirit lives in you.” He ever present help to you.

Expect miracles, expect to receive revelation, expect a word from God that will revolutionize your future.

God knows everything and we do not. We need to ask Him to reveal what we don’t know that we need to know.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.  James 1:5 KJV

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.  Proverbs 1:7 KJV

The foundation of all wisdom, knowledge and instruction is found in the absolute truth of the Bible, the living Word of God.

America became exceptional and great because of the emphasis on biblical education as the foundation of all learning endeavour.

The Word of God, when embraced and followed, lays the foundation for all science, life and practice.

A return to the scripture as the foundation of learning is the only real hope for any society.

Daily Witness

Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.  Colossians 4:5-6 KJV

I took this picture of our Las Vegas sunrise today and thought it would make a good back drop for our verse today. I love to use pictures that I have taken so that you can get a feel for where I live and base my ministry and what I’m looking at when I write my morning “Thoughts for Today” blog.

One of the great benefits of “studying to show yourself approved” in the scripture is that it gives you the wisdom that many people are seeking. The word of God, the Bible, holds everything necessary for having an answer for all who ask you what makes you who you are.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2 Timothy 3:16 (KJV)

To be “salt,” which is a preservative, in our case, of society, we must have Bible truth at the forefront of our lives. We need to be the Word of God incarnate; in other words, we need to be so yielded to Christ Jesus that we think, talk and act like Him. This is what the new birth should look like:

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20 (KJV)

The Principle Thing

Jesus is the Wisdom of God. He is the Word of God.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God” (John 1:1,2).

When you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you receive the Wisdom of God! Then you are commanded to receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit who will lead you into all truth as you read the Bible, the Word of God.

“So then Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God” (Roman’s 10:17).

Faith based on the Word of God gives us the understanding we are told to get.

“Through faith we understand . . .”  (Hebrews 11:3a).

Foolishness For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His service, intervention] and in and for Him.

The most foolish thought that a man can have is to think that he came into being without a Creator and that he is not subject to his Creator.

This voluntary ignorance always leaves him without a Savior, devoid of real wisdom, and destined for eternal destruction.
