Heaven or Hell

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Mark 16:16 KJV

The eternal torment of hell (yes, it’s a real place) awaits those unwilling to believe. Eternal righteousness, peace, and joy awaits those who believe and yield their lives to Jesus the Christ of God.

But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:8‭-‬10 KJV

Seeking the Lost

For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
Luke 19:10 KJV

We are not saved so that we can have a better life while living like we did. We are a new creation with a new purpose. It is now our call and duty to serve Jesus and carry out the great commission. We are to win the lost no matter the cost.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Matthew 28:19 KJV

We are no longer our own we were bought with a price. We are the servants of the Lord.

And the Lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. Luke 14:23 KJV

The Gospel

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 2 Timothy 4:2 KJV

Preachers have a resposibility to declare the whole truth to the listeners; the whole counsel of God which reproves, rebukes, and exhorts.

The Gospel is not just sweet words that tickle the ears but it is powerful to deliver, cleanse, and make whole.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16 KJV

The tendency of our society to reject anything that makes them uncomfortable is extremely destructive. They are, then, drawn to purveyors of heretical error.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 2 Timothy 4:3 KJV

Be teachable. Yield to the whole counsel of God. Be set free from sin and death.

Recover All

And David enquired at the Lord , saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all. 1 Samuel 30:8 KJV

Restoration and recovery of all that is lost is found in Christ Jesus.

Yes, as we press into the fight for God’s righteous cause we will find ourselves being restored to wholeness and recovering all that the devil has stolen.

And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, . . . Joel 2:25 KJV

Our High Priest

Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. Hebrews 4:14 KJV

In the midst of this battle for the heart of America we must stand firm for the cause of Christ. Only Christianity and its biblical Christian principles establish the cohesive elements that hold a society together.

Our profession of faith in Christ and His Word must never be silenced in the public square.

Our High Priest, Lord, and Savior is the eternal ruler of men and the Word of God is our unchangeable, immutable, eternal rule of practice.

Let us hold fast to our profession of faith in Him who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, gave His life and died, was buried, and rose from the dead and ever lives at the right hand of God the Father.

Overcoming Fear

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 KJV

Submit yourself to the Word of God and resist the spirit of fear with your declaration of the Word of God and fear will flee and faith will prevail.

God has given you power and authority over all the enemies of God and His plan and purpose for your life. Receive a revelation of His love for you and you will boldly proclaim His promises concerning you.

Fear will flee away and your mind will rest in the peace of God that passes all understanding. Your mind will be sound, well disciplined, and strong.

Remember, faith works by love and love never fails.

When you make a declaration of faith it is heard and heeded in heaven. All the power and resource of heaven goes to work to bring it to pass.

Never Give Up

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Joshua 1:9 KJV

There are times when what is coming against you or is standing in your way seems insurmountable. When Hitler’s Nazi Germany threatened to overwhelm and conquer Great Britain It was one of those times.

That’s when Prime Minister Winston Churchill called his nation to greatness. He said, “Never give in, never give in, never, never, never– in nothing, great or small, large or petty– never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.”

His inspiration came from the scriptures, the Word of God. That’s where you and I receive our courage and resolve.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Ephesians 6:10 KJV

Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. 1 Corinthians 16:13 KJV

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:11‭, ‬13 KJV
