“I’m on my way; I’ll be there soon. Keep a tight grip on what you have so no one distracts you and steals your crown.
Revelation 3:11 MSG

Jesus is coming back for a glorious church without spot nor wrinkle. He’s also coming as the Judge of all who walk in rebellion toward His words and the Father’s will.

Don’t let anything or anyone distract you from following and serving Him. Keep yourself in the knowledge of His holiness and might.

Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the Lord your God.  And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the Lord which sanctify you. Leviticus 20:7‭-‬8 KJV

It’s up to each of us read the Word, heed the Word, believe the Word, keep the Word, and speak the Word.

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV

And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. Isaiah 65:24 KJV

God is nearer than the sound of your voice.  Even before you know you need help, it’s on the way.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalms 46:1 KJV

Have no fear, God is near

The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Psalms 9:9 KJV

Help is on the way!

And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord , which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel. Isaiah 45:3 KJV

God is always wanting to show Himself present and able to provide for those who are His own. There are great and precious promises for those who walk in covenant with Him.

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:19 KJV

There is so much more in Christ than most believers are aware of.

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 2 Corinthians 9:8 KJV

Blessings abundant.

Bless the Lord , O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Psalms 103:2‭-‬3 KJV

When I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior I was flooded with peace. The load of guilt and shame was lifted off my shoulders and sin’s hold on me was broken.

This chain smoking alcoholic was delivered and light and life came into my whole being.

How can I but praise Him and bless Him? How can anyone who has been born-again not have an attitude of gratitude for all that God did, and is, doing?

No wonder the Psslmist shouted:

Bless the Lord , O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.  Bless the Lord , O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:  Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;  Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;  Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Psalms 103:1‭-‬5 KJV

But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith the Lord .
Jeremiah 12:17 KJV

God is calling the people of our great nation to return to Him, the God of our fathers, before He must destroy us. Our Constitution is a biblically based document suitable only for the governance of a righteous people.

The evil seen manifest in our city, nation, and the world is the result of godlessness.  It is the result of a people who have turned their back on God and His Son, Jesus the Christ.

The heart of man is exceedingly wicked without the Lordship of Christ Jesus and the conviction of the Holy Spirit. All need a supernatural heart trasplant.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;  Romans 3:23 KJV

Our only hope to save the civilized world is to repent and yield to God in Christ.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV

The Word

Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.
Jeremiah 15:16 KJV

The words of God are found in only one place; the Bible. That’s why it’s called “the Word”. Unlike all other writings it is a living book.

For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.  Hebrews 4:12 AMP

No matter what you are facing right now, the Word of God hidden in your heart will strengthen, establish, and lead you to victory.

. . .  for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.   A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: . . .  Matthew 12:34‭-‬35 KJV

Receive the Word. Believe the Word. Speak the Word. It governs everything.

And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. Jeremiah 3:15 KJV

It’s Pastor Appreciation Month.

While I realize that some just went, I also know that many are sent. Your Pastor, a sent one, is a gift from God to you. Receive, cherish, honor, and care for your Pastor.

It’s a serious calling that can only be fulfilled supernaturally. Pastors need prayer support, faithful helps ministries and congregants, and regular support.

That is the functioning body of Christ. Everyone bringing their supply of the Spirit into the house of God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation. Hebrews 13:7 KJV

Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.

Galatians 6:6 KJV Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.  For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.  1 Timothy 5:17‭-‬18 KJV
