No Lack

The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. Psalms 34:10 KJV

The Lord is my Shepard, I shall not want [lack].

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Psalms 23:1‭-‬6 KJV

Those who love Him are in His tender (although mighty) care.

The Lord hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron. Psalms 115:12 KJV

As the old song goes, “When He was on the Cross, I was on His mind”. Jesus has had you on His mind ever since. In fact, He prays for you continuously.

Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25 KJV

Not only does the Lord have you on His mind but He will bless you and your household.

Love Cares

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 1 John 4:9 KJV

Love gives at its own expense for the benefit of others. If God loved us enough to send His Son then shouldn’t we, who have had His love shed abroad in our hearts, love others enough to go to them?

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 1 John 4:9‭-‬11 KJV

And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. Jeremiah 3:15 KJV

It’s Pastor Appreciation Month.

While I realize that some just went, I also know that many are sent. Your Pastor, a sent one, is a gift from God to you. Receive, cherish, honor, and care for your Pastor.

It’s a serious calling that can only be fulfilled supernaturally. Pastors need prayer support, faithful helps ministries and congregants, and regular support.

That is the functioning body of Christ. Everyone bringing their supply of the Spirit into the house of God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation. Hebrews 13:7 KJV

Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.

Galatians 6:6 KJV Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.  For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.  1 Timothy 5:17‭-‬18 KJV

But when He saw the crowds, He was moved with compassion for them, because they fainted and were scattered, like sheep without a shepherd. Matthew 9:36 MEV

Are you angered by those who are lost and consumed with sin or are you moved with compassion for them?

Pray for those who despitefully use you. Bless them who curse you.
He said to them, “Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  Mark 16:15 MEV

Giving Gets

The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself. Proverbs 11:25 KJV

God is a giving God. Like every true father, He loves to lavish blessing upon His children. He began by giving the created cosmos to mankind. He provided and cared for His covenant people even to providing Himself a sacrifice for sin.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV

It would have been enough that He saved us but He still lavishes us with provision, healing, comfort, joy and peace.

What we have received we should share with gladness and thanksgiving for we have nothing that has not been given us by our loving, giving Father.

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Luke 6:38 KJV

The Blessing

The blessing of the Lord , it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. Proverbs 10:22 KJV

Just as the old song says, “Only believe. Only believe. All things are possible. Only believe.”

God takes care of the birds of the field. Will He not take care of you also?

Consider the ravens: They neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouses nor barns. Yet God feeds them. How much more valuable are you than birds Luke 12:24 MEV

As you look to Him in faith believing and cast your care upon Him He will gladly provide for you.

Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.  Psalms 35:27 KJV
