No Fear

The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?  Psalms 118:6 KJV

No Fear Here!

Cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you.

If God be for you, who can be against you?

He is more than able to keep that which is entrusted to Him.

He is the Good Shepherd who leads, feeds, and protects His sheep.

No weapon formed against you will ever prosper.

No Fear!

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.  Isaiah 12:2 KJV

A spirit of fear has no place in the man or woman of God. Trust is the very fabric of faith in God which covers the believer like a mantle.

The faith filled are strong in the strength of His might and their mouth is filled with songs of praise.

Nothing shall be impossible for them who believe. Victory is their portion, prosperity their promise, and good health their abiding place.

Without Faith

http://bible.com/1/heb.11.6.KJV

Way too many people still think that God is a withholder, a grinch trying to keep something from them, or a punisher of the least infractions of His law.

Nothing could be further from the truth. He is loving (because He is love) and ever ready to extend mercy and grace.

That should be obvious by the fact that He sent His Only Begotten Son, Jesus, so that we “should not perish, but have everlasting life”.

“God is good! All the time!” is not just a catchy little phrase. God is good all the time. It is the devil that comes to “steal, kill, and destroy “. Jesus came to give us “life, and life more abundantly”.

When you diligently seek God, He is your Rewarder. You seek Him and please Him when you have faith in Him and His Son, Jesus (Mark 11:22).

Have Faith. Please God. Got it? Great! Have a blessed life.

Fear vs Faith

My heart goes out to those who live in constant fear. This is especially true of believers in Christ Jesus and the Word of God which declares that “perfect love casts out all fear.” God is Love and where He is there is freedom.

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom). 2 Corinthians 3:17 (AMP)

Fear is a spirit and it must be cast out.

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 (AMP)

Fear

Faith and Fear have the same thing in common.

Both believe what you cannot see. Both believe what has not happened yet.

Both believe!

Fear believes the lie. Faith believes the truth.

Where Faith ends – Worry begins.

Worry is the darkroom where negatives are developed. In the developing solution of imagination, pictures of disaster, loss, sickness and death slowly come into view. Unclear at first, but ever more clear and distinguishable as imagination’s solution works on the negative.

These pictures bring torment, terror, worry and fear.

F.E.A.R. = False Evidence Appearing Real.

Believing doubts –

Doubting beliefs.

Worry assassinates hope –

When you abandon hope you have no Faith – You only have Fear.

Fear negates Faith –

When you fear, you have no faith.

You say, “I have faith.” This is only true in that part of your life where you have no fear.

Faith

Faith and Fear are like two ships laden with cargo on the sea of the heart. Their port of arrival is the harbor of your mind.

They both can come into your harbor –

-but-

You don’t have to let Fear drop anchor. You don’t have to let Fear unload her cargo.

Choose which cargo you will allow to fill the warehouse of your mind. The choice is up to you. You are the harbor master of your soul. You can choose to worry, despair, feel rejected, carry bitterness, harbor unforgiveness or be depressed or you can choose to believe and receive what God says in His word is true about you. (Joshua 24:15)

Faith comes by hearing , and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17) Fear also comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of the faithless. Sometimes the faithless can be your Christian friends. We must hear the word of God, not the words of the faithless. We need the wind of the Spirit to fill the sails of the ship of Faith. (Romans 14:1; 1 Corinthians 2:5)

Our Christian walk is one of Faith, NOT Fear of what we see nor the fear of what others say. The bulwark of Fear will draw calamity to you like a magnet draws metal shavings . Conversely, The bulwark of Faith will protect you and win every skirmish with the devil ((Job 3:25; Numbers 14:2 Ephesians 6:16)(2 Corinthians 5:7)

When Fear drops anchor, Faith will leave the harbor.

When Faith drops anchor, Fear sinks out of sight (Hebrews 4;2).

Victory

Victory Is Guaranteed

Be strong and of good courage for the Lord is with you!

And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the Lord do to all your enemies against whom ye fight. Joshua 10:25 (KJV) (1 Chr. 22:13; 1 Chr 28:20)

There will be a battle but we are not to look at anything but the victory of the Victorious One!

Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, . . . Joshua 1:3 (KJV)

He has made us more than conquerors:

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. Romans 8:37 (KJV)

We walk in the victory and the authority of the living Christ! Nothing can stop us as we live and move and have our being in Him.

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19 (KJV)

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and . . . , lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:18-20 (KJV)

Real Rest

This is the Rest

For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. Isaiah 28:11-12 (KJV)

Everywhere the Wind of the Spirit of Life (Romans 8:2; Revelation 11:11) is blowing fresh new vitality into the Church of the living God. Reports come from near and far of the sweeping changes that are taking place over the whole globe. Wherever there are believers that are hungry and thirsty for the things of God there is a fresh breath stirring earthen vessels to renewed life!

The Spirit of Truth (John 14:17; John 15:26; John 16:13) is stripping away the scales of deception that have been held in place by tradition, and lack of teaching. He is sending His anointed ones to proclaim and teach revelation truth so that the Body of Christ might have the vision of God.

Where there is no vision (no redemptive revelation of God), the people perish. (Proverbs 29:18 (AMP)

Pentecostal outpouring is flowing into every denominational group, shattering decades old strongholds and releasing the army of God to move in the things of the Spirit of Holiness and Resurrection (John 11:25; Romans 1:4; 8:11).

Old time Revival is hitting planet earth!

This is the Refreshing

This army speaks with other tongues! They have entered the rest and refreshing of moving in the power of God instead of the power of man. They have been equipped for the campaign at hand by the Holy Ghost! The weapons of their warfare are not carnal but are mighty! 2 Corinthians 10:4 (KJV)

Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 4:6 (KJV)

Jesus commanded His followers to be filled with power from on high before they went into the world to minister (Acts 1:2; Acts 1:4-5; Acts 1:8). They were not going to be ordinary people any longer. Their task was going to require supernatural ability. God had chosen them to demonstrate the resurrected Christ just as He has chosen you and me in these last days.

These people have no fear in them for they have received the Spirit of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)

Believers, Spirit baptized believers, have the manifestation of the Presence of the Spirit of the Lord accompanying them.

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Mark 16:17-18 (KJV)

Hills & Valleys

The God of the Hills . . .

And there came a man of God, and spake unto the king of Israel, and said, Thus saith the Lord, Because the Syrians have said, The Lord is God of the hills, but he is not God of the valleys, therefore will I deliver all this great multitude into thine hand, and ye shall know that I am the Lord. 1 Kings 20:28 (KJV)

When you and I are on the hilltops of life; when we are standing on the mountain shouting, “Hallelujah!,” it is easy to be a man or woman of faith. Our confession is good, God is good, everything is wonderful. We are healthy, prospering, fulfilled, satisfied, full of joy. Glory! This is the victorious Christian life.

Or is it? When everything is going right and our enemies have scattered it is easy to praise; it is easy to shout the victory, it is easy to say, “I’m more than a conqueror, an overcomer in His sight.”

Beloved, you and I must learn that what we talk on the mountain is the same talk we must talk in the valleys. Our God is the God of the valley just as sure as He is the God of the mountain top. He is well able to keep that which is entrusted to Him. He is our sword, our shield, our ever present help in time of trouble. He, and He alone, is the Lord.

Why can I be so sure that the victory on the mountain will be my portion in the valley? The Lord is the God of the valleys too!

We can say, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”

Who is Thou? He is the Lord! He is the Jehovah-jireh of Genesis 22:14, my Provider, Who will manifest my provision. He is Jehovah-nissi of Exodus 17:15, Who is my Altar in the wilderness and my banner of victory.

The God of the Valleys …

He is Jehovah-shalom of Judges 6:24, Who is my cure, wholeness, and peace. He is Jehovah El Elyon of Psalm 83:18, Who is the Most High God Who is over all the earth. He is Jehovah-Sabaoth,, the Lord of armies. He is El Shaddai, the All Sufficient One and the great I Am, that I Am. He is with me!

How then can I fear? My rendition of Psalm 23:4 reads this way: “Yes, though I walk through the apparently inescapable valley of calamity even the shadow of death, I will not be afraid of, nor will I dread any adversity, affliction, calamity, distress or grievous situation or circumstance sent by the evil one: for Thou, the LORD, are always with me; Your rod (Branch, scepter, tribe), as is Your staff (support and sustenance), they comfort (ease) me.”

Whether we are on the mountain top or we are in the valley; God is the same. He changes not. What we must learn to do is speak mountain top words. Speak to the things that are not as though they were. Dead dreams, slaughtered hopes, devastated plans, all will come alive if our words are words we received and spoke on the mountain tops.

The dream of God seemed hopelessly lost. But, take a look at what God had Ezekiel do: ” And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest. Again he said unto me, Prophesy … hear the word of the Lord. … ye shall know that I am the Lord … I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise … Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say … So I prophesied as he commanded me …” Eze. 37:3-10

Speak, Prophesy, Say and see the valleys

Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth; Luke 3:5 (KJV)
