Helps Ministry

And his armourbearer said unto him, Do all that is in thine heart: turn thee; behold, I am with thee according to thy heart. 1 Samuel 14:7 KJV

A true Armorbearer [Helps Minister] is with his/her Leader according their Heart.

Carrying the Apostle’s, or Pastor’s, briefcase will not bring a transfer of anointing.

Do It!

And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed. 2 Kings 13:18 KJV

Anything worth doing is worth doing right. What we’re commissioned by God to do is worth doing.

What God tells us to do, we should do with all of our heart.

Had Joash fullfilled what Elisha spoke to him he would have had complete victory over his enemies but his half-hearted response only gave him a partial and temporary victory.

And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice. 2 Kings 13:19 KJV

Whatsoever He says to you do it with all your heart and strength.

Motive

And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord , but not with a perfect heart. 2 Chronicles 25:2 KJV

What is not done out of the Love of God is meaningless. In other words, motive is everything in the eyes of God.
We are called to be obedient to God’s Word, yet unwilling obedience is unacceptable to Him. What He wants is obedience that has its basis in our Love for Him.

Even faith only works by Love (God’s love).

For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. Galatians 5:6 KJV

The promises available through faith are only to thosr who are willing as well as obedient.

If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: Isaiah 1:19 KJV

Do it!

Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.  Psalms 119:11 MEV

To say you love the Lord and have no regard for the word of God is like saying that you love life but then go and commit suicide.

Only knowing Jesus through His word will save the soul and bring abundant life, peace and joy. The Word transforms and transfigures the one who embraces it with his whole heart.

Words of the Heart

A fool’s mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul. Proverbs 18:7 KJV

It might be good for you to listen to what you’re saying. The Bible, God’s Word, says that what comes out of your mouth issues from what is stored in your heart.

I’ll never forget the time when the Lord spoke to me and said, ” Listen to yourself. Do you really want what you’re saying? What you say is what is really in your heart.”

But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. Matthew 15:18 KJV
Our words establish our environment and determine our future. They hold creative power for evil or for good. That’s why it is so important to guard your heart and listen to what comes out of it.

A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.   But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.   For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. Matthew 12:35‭-‬37 KJV.

The cure for a polluted heart is the Word of God.

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Psalms 119:11 KJV

And that, Beloved, is my thought for today.

Choose Life

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord , thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.  Jeremiah 29:11 KJV

You and I have been given the high privilege of choosing our earthly and eternal destiny. God has given every man a free will. He has enabled him to set his course by words of faith that come from the heart.

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:  Deuteronomy 30:19 KJV

Peace

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  John 14:27 KJV

True peace is only found in knowing the power and love of God in Christ Jesus. After all, He is the Prince of peace.

Everything around you may be unraveling and chaotic but His peace in your heart can be experienced as you draw upon Him. His Spirit has filled every believer with power, love and soundness that has absolutely nothing to do with fear

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 KJV

You need only to choose His Word and He will empower it to bring you His peace.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 KJV
