Perfect Peace

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Isaiah 26:3 KJV

Perfect peace is only found in trusting God.

For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. 2 Timothy 1:12 KJV

Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25 KJV

But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Luke 6:27 KJV

Christians need to learn to walk in love without condoning sin. Our concept of “love” has been so secularized that we think it means we have to accept all manner of behavior as normal.

The simple truth, however, is:

For the wages of sin is [still] death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 KJV

Love actually demands that we warn the sinner of the consequences of sin.

It has been said, and rightly so, ” Hate the sin but love the sinner.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV

Those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.
Galatians 5:24 MEV

According to the Modernist preachers of today there is no need to live a holy life. They advocate for drinking, drugging, sexual promiscuity, and all manner of non-biblical life-styles.

What ever happened to being “crucified with Christ”? The world is demanding that perverts be exposed and castigated, what about the Church of the living God who calls it to purity.

You shall be holy unto Me; for I the Lord am holy and have separated you from other peoples, that you should be Mine. Leviticus 20:26 MEV

I’m thinking that it is time for a reality check. It’s time for a return to biblical values. It’s time to repent!

Therefore, “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.” 2 Corinthians 6:17 MEV

Call to Holiness

But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
Ephesians 5:3 KJV

Grace is not an excuse to live an unclean, perverse life of excess as many pulpits encourage these days.

Jesus calls and empowers Christians to live pure, holy lives that honor God and His Kingdom.

The next verse in Ephesians tells us that even our conversation should be evidence of our born-again experience.

Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. Ephesians 5:4 KJV

How does your life measure up? Are you walking in the carnal flesh realm or the spirit realm? There is a glaring difference.

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,  Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,  Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,  Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.  And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. Galatians 5:19‭-‬24 KJV

It’s a matter of life and death.

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:  Deuteronomy 30:19 KJV

Grace or License

What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Romans 6:15 KJV

There is so much misinformation concerning the Gospel being perpetrated by the modernist church. Scripture is being twisted and reinterpreted to allow for perverse and popular life-styles.

Though Christ carried our sin to the cross and cleansed us with His blood, we still have an obligation to live holy.

Our righteousness is a gift from God. That is His side of the New Testament covenant. Our holiness is our gift to God. It is our side of the covenant. We are to have become servants of righteousness.

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.  Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?  But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.  Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. Romans 6:14‭, ‬16‭-‬18 KJV

Truth Hurts Sometimes

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.  Proverbs 14:12 KJV

Don’t stay in a church that is afraid to make you uncomfortable by preaching the truth.
It’s foolish to stay in a church that is unwilling, or afraid, to tell you the truth of God’s Word in order to be politically correct and condone sin.

Jesus didn’t live a sinless life and give it for you and I to live in sin and mock our Holy God and His Word.

It’s time for a righteous revolution.

Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.  Proverbs 1:23 KJV

Unfortunately, much of the church today is walking in rebellion to the biblical standard set by God. Everyone seems to be doing “what is right in their eyes” and refuse to acknowledge their need for repentance and obedience.

No wonder the church is powerless and using showmanship to gather and keep crowds.
The Holy Spirit’s anointing and susequent revelation comes as we yield to the correction of the Lord. As we do we will experience God’s holy presence, His power, and insight into the mysteries of His kingdom glory.

Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved. Psalms 80:3 KJV

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.  And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

1 John 3:2‭-‬3 KJV
