The Name

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 KJV

There are names many that claim divine attributes. Allah, Moroni, Krishna, Bhudda, to mention a few. None have the sanction or endorsement of God Himself. It was only of Jesus that He gave His approval.

While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.  Matthew 17:5 KJV

And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.  And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:  And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Mark 1:9‭-‬11 KJV

God set the way of salvation solely in the Person of His Son Jesus.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.   For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.   He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:16‭-‬18 KJV

Righteousness

For You, Lord , will bless the righteous; You surround him with favor like a shield.
Psalms 5:12 MEV

God says, “Be holy for I Am Holy”. A holy life is still the best life. When you choose to live a life ruled by Christ Jesus, nurtured by the Word of God (the Bible), and led by the Holy Spirit, you will find yourself experiencing the provision and protection of the Living God.
Your life will be filled with righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

There’s nothing quite like it.

Once For All

For by one offering He has forever perfected those who are sanctified. Hebrews 10:14 MEV

But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God. Hebrews 10:12 MEV

Jesus has completed His work of redemption. Now it’s up to us to receive Him and its benefits.

There is no other sacrifice for sin that will remove the power or stain of sin. Jesus is the only name by which men might be saved.

There is no salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 MEV

God Is Calling

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3:36 KJV

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  John 3:16 KJV

God is calling you unto Himself through His Son, Jesus, the Messiah, the Christ. Answer Him with a heart profession of faith.

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart.” This is the word of faith that we preach: that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved, for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  Romans 10:8‭-‬10 MEV

Inner Peace

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:9‭-‬10 KJV

Being true to yourself and your principles, your convictions, brings peace. This is quite necessary to living a content and peacful existance. As the old saying goes, “Unto thine own self be true.”

But this natural peace is not to be compared to the supernatural peace that is given by the Prince of Peace, Jesus our Savior and Lord.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.John 14:27 KJV

There is no inner peace like that which comes with being one with God in Christ Jesus.

Confess your need for Him and your sin. Recognize and receive Him as Lord and Savior.

Do it today. The Prince of Peace awaits.

God’s Gift

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,  1 Peter 1:18‭-‬20 KJV

Our Creator God knew that, given a free will, His creation, mankind, would fail. So, before the foundation of the world the Godhead provided an acceptable sacrifice, the “Lamb slain from the foundation of the world,” and brought Him into the world in the “fulness of time.”

Jesus, the only begotten of the Father, born of a virgin, became God’s Gift to the World.

Merry Christmas!
