Helps Ministry

And his armourbearer said unto him, Do all that is in thine heart: turn thee; behold, I am with thee according to thy heart. 1 Samuel 14:7 KJV

A true Armorbearer [Helps Minister] is with his/her Leader according their Heart.

Carrying the Apostle’s, or Pastor’s, briefcase will not bring a transfer of anointing.

Wherefore the Lord God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the Lord saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed. 1 Samuel 2:30 KJV

The concepts of honor and respect seems to have been lost to this generation of secular humanists. To them, nothing is sacred.

The progressive left not only has no regard for civility but is also without moral restaint. No wonder, for man without God is given over to the vile and degrading passions of the sin nature.

Scripture teaches us to honor God and to show honor to those to whom honor is due. God has little estimation of those who do not honor Him and His Christ.

“. . . them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.” 1 Samuel 2:30 KJV

Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Romans 12:10 KJV

Honor and respect are critical components to the longevity of a civil society.

Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. Hebrews 13:17 KJV

Obedience and willing obedience to delegated authority seems to be a foreign concept to many Christians in the West; even when God delegates His authority.

The Centurian, whose servant was ill, recognized Jesus’ was under authority of God the Father as he was to Ceasar and gained his servant’s healing by a word.

Biblical profit is gained by those who esteem the gift that God has given to “watch for [their] souls” and determine to bring them joy rather than grief.

But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. Hebrews 13:16 KJV

And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth. Hebrews 7:8 KJV

If you don’t tithe you cut yourself off from the resources of heaven.

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.  And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.  And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts. Malachi 3:10‭-‬12 KJV

To Tithe is to Honor.

Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:  So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. Proverbs 3:9‭-‬10 KJV

Every Christian should honor God in the local church.

Every Pastor should have a Pastor and should honor their office with the tithe.

And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. Jeremiah 3:15 KJV

It’s Pastor Appreciation Month.

While I realize that some just went, I also know that many are sent. Your Pastor, a sent one, is a gift from God to you. Receive, cherish, honor, and care for your Pastor.

It’s a serious calling that can only be fulfilled supernaturally. Pastors need prayer support, faithful helps ministries and congregants, and regular support.

That is the functioning body of Christ. Everyone bringing their supply of the Spirit into the house of God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation. Hebrews 13:7 KJV

Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.

Galatians 6:6 KJV Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.  For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.  1 Timothy 5:17‭-‬18 KJV

The Prophet’s Reward

And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.  1 Kings 17:13 KJV

The Prophet’s reward is one of the keys to having your needs met. It is a principle of honoring the office of the prophet.
Each of us needs a prophetic voice in our lives, a connection with a prophet. Your prophet may be your pastor or your father in the faith. Cherish and honor the connection that God has given you.

Being mindful to care for your prophet’s needs before your own will insure that supernatural supply will flow feely in your life.

He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. Matthew 10:41 KJV

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.  Hebrews 10:25 KJV

Honor the Lord with your presence.

Every child wants the time and attention of their father. How much more we who are the children of God.

Every father wants his children to want to be with him. So our Father in heaven.

Presence out weighs any present.
