For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”  Matthew 12:37 MEV

Words are powerful. They reveal the, some times hidden, thoughts and intents of the heart. By words your future is fashioned.

O generation of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.  A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things. And an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.  Matthew 12:34‭-‬35 MEV
A true believer in Christ will speak words of life. Their confession will declare God’s goodness, mercy and kindness. Nothing shall be impossible to him who controls his mouth.

The Lord our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying, “You have dwelt long enough at this mountain. Deuteronomy 1:6 MEV

It’s time to speak to your mountain. It will not let you past it until it is removed by the Word in your mouth.

For truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says.  Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you will receive them, and you will have them.  Mark 11:23‭-‬24 MEV

Submit to God. Then speak with Authority.

What Do You Say?

I will say of the Lord , He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Psalms 91:2 KJV

What do you say?

Your words are critical. They hold the power of life and death.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Proverbs 18:21

They fashion your future and bring you poverty or riches, lack or abundance, decrease or increase.

A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Proverbs 18:20 KJV

I choose to say, “In God I Trust.”

What do you say?

Speak Life

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.  Proverbs 18:21 KJV

One of the most overlooked truths in the Bible is that of speaking faith filled biblical words.

Fortunately, there are more and more Christians waking up to the need to guard their tongue and speak what they want rather than the negative situation or circumstance they are facing.

David faced Goliath, a formidable foe, with words of faith’s victory in his mouth.

Brother Mark Hankins said a great truth concerning this event: “Don’t run at your enemy with your mouth closed!”

Your victory is in your mouth!

Your words will move mountains.

Speak life today.

He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.  Proverbs 13:3 KJV

Your words act as the rudder of life. In other words, you steer your course with what you say. They are words of failure or they are words of faith.

Our verse today is admonishing us to guard, or watch what we say. Talking without thinking of the result of what we say is almost always disastrous.

Listen to yourself. Do you really want what you’re saying? Things like, “I’m sick and tired . . . “, or “I never get a break,” will give you sickness, weariness, and missed opportunity. Say instead, “I’m healthy and prospering.” After all, that’s the will of God for your life.

The elder unto the wellbeloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:1‭-‬2 KJV

God Said and God Saw

I. God Said and God Saw

A. Genesis 1:3,4; 6,10; 11,12; 14,17; 20,21; 24,25; 29,31

II. You and I were created in the image and after the likeness of God:

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.  Genesis 1:26 (KJV)

A. God is a speaking Spirit:

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:24 (KJV)

1. We were created after Whose likeness?

a. Then, We have been created speaking spirits:

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 (KJV)

B. Faith is the key.

Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

C. Faith will cause us to speak what we truly believe.

Matthew 12:34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

D. What you say, and continue to say, you will see!

Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

1. The Word of God is Seed and must be Sown by Speaking:

Luke 8:5-14 (KJV) 5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it. 6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture. 7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it. 8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

a. Faith comes by hearing

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17 (KJV)

(1) Hearing what?

(a) What are you listening to?

9 And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be? 10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

E. The Seed Is the Word!

11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

1. If you want a harvest you have to plant seed

F. Some people hear but let the devil talk them out of it.

12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

G. It takes character (integrity) to keep the Word, submit to God and resist the devil.

13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

H. Way too many, so called, Christians, are all wrapped up in “life”s pursuits:

1. That is NOT alright with God.

14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. Luke 8:5-14 (KJV)

a. Now, Listen!

Luke 8:15 (KJV) But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

2. How you receive the Word depends upon whether you abound in it or not:

6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Colossians 2:6-7 (KJV)

a. You and I are to abound in faith!

3. Speaking what you want to see is required in order to see what you have said:

Mark 11:23-24 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

a. In other words, You shall see what you say!

4. What should you say?

a. Say what the Word of God says! Say what God said!

(1) But what if your head doesn’t agree with the Word?

5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)

III. You may not know how it is going to work but God knows how to do it!

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)

A. Remember:

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)

IV. Faith is your servant:

A. It will do what you believe in your heart and what you speak with your mouth:

Luke 17:6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

a. Your servant (faith) will always obey you!

(1) Speak prosperity! See prosperity!
(a) Speak increase in every area of life! See increase in every area of life!
(2) Speak healing! See healing!
(a) In your physical body!
(b) In your marriage!
(c) In your emotions!
(d) In your thinking!

B. Abound in Faith! Say and See!

Speaking Your Believing

Have you ever listened to yourself? It is very revealing. The Bible says that a person speaks what is in their heart. Guess what? If you have doubt, unbelief, or fear in your heart it will come out in your words.

“So what?”, you might ask. What you speak draws what you say to you. Negative words draw negative events and results into your life.

In the other hand, if you have faith, hope, and love in your heart, that is what you will verbalize. Those words, born of believing faith, with bring great things into your life.

Mountain like challenges will move, negative, hindering things will evaporate before your eyes. Your life will take on a new vitality, you will be healthier, and prosperity will be your portion.

Begin to listen to yourself and adjust the words that come out of your mouth and, like a rudder on a ship, you will begin to determine the direction of your life.
