A Gift

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 KJV

Give the Father of glory the gift of yourself by receiving Christ Jesus as Lord.

This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. Psalms 34:6 KJV

July 18, 1973 was the day I cried out to the Lord and asked Jesus to take over my life.

He saved me and has delivered me from all my troubles ever since. A more faithful Friend cannot be found on earth.

He can be expressed in one word: FAITHFUL.

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. Revelation 19:11 KJV

Don’t let another day go by with out asking Jesus to be your Lord and Savior.

But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Romans 10:8‭-‬11 KJV

Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Romans 6:6‭-‬7 KJV

Why would anyone want to commit suicide? Suicide is futile and final. It offers no hope for the future.

Being crucified with Christ, on the other hand, brings death to the old person and vibrant eternal life through resurrection in Christ.

Yes, receiving Jesus Christ puts the old you to death and wipes away all the guilt, shame, hopelessness and despair. It also includes you in His being raised from the dead so that you can experience forgiveness, hope and an expectation of good things to come.

Don’t take your life.

Give your life to Jesus and watch what He will do with it.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 KJV

He died and rose so that we could live. Yes, Jesus lived, died, and rose from the dead so that you and I could live.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Romans 5:8‭-‬10 KJV

Why did He do It? Limitless Love.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV

Death, Hell, and the Grave

For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. Psalms 86:13 KJV

There is a hell to shun and a heaven to gain. Jesus tasted death, hell, and the grave so that you and I don’t have to.

See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; Deuteronomy 30:15 KJV.

God would that you choose life.

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: Deuteronomy 30:19 KJV

No Other Way

He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done. Matthew 26:42 KJV

Jesus crucified on the Cross was the only way the salvation of men could be accomplished. There is none other.

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 KJV

Jesus is not a way to heaven and peace with God, He is the only way.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:6 KJV

If salvation could have come any other way the Father would never have allowed His Son to go to the cross.

Look Up

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. Luke 21:28 KJV

What things? Not must wars and rumors of wars. No. The real signs are the attitudes of a people without God.

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 2 Timothy 3:1‭-‬5 KJV
