Righteous

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:21 KJV

The amazing truth of becoming born-again is that the believer is no longer alienated from God but has been (past tense, present indicative) made righteous (made to be in right standing with God) in Christ. Righteousness is a gift that we receive by faith.

For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)  Romans 5:17 KJV

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  Not of works, lest any man should boast.  Ephesians 2:8‭-‬9 KJV

Once you realize who you are in Christ, you will begin to live the holy life into which you have been immersed.

Saved

This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. Psalms 34:6 KJV

July 18, 1973 was the day I cried out to the Lord and asked Jesus to take over my life.

He saved me and has delivered me from all my troubles ever since. A more faithful Friend cannot be found on earth.

He can be expressed in one word: FAITHFUL.

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. Revelation 19:11 KJV

Don’t let another day go by with out asking Jesus to be your Lord and Savior.

But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Romans 10:8‭-‬11 KJV

Heaven or Hell

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Mark 16:16 KJV

The eternal torment of hell (yes, it’s a real place) awaits those unwilling to believe. Eternal righteousness, peace, and joy awaits those who believe and yield their lives to Jesus the Christ of God.

Romans 10:8‭-‬10 KJV

Lifted

This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. 1 Timothy 1:15 KJV

I was an angry, perverted young man. Life had twisted and warped me beyond belief. When Jesus came into my heart everything changed. He lifted me out of darkness into His marvelous light.

His plan and purpose for me, and you, by the way, is far better than our plans for ourselves.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 1 Peter 2:9 KJV

Christ lifted me from the guttermost to the uttermost.

He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. Psalms 40:2 KJV

Yes, Christ lifted me. He will lift you too!

Who You Are

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: Galatians 3:13 KJV

Redeemed is who you are when you are in covenant with God in Christ Jesus.

“Hath redeemed” is past tense. As a Christian, you already are redeemed from every curse.

Now, live like it!

Righteousness

For You, Lord , will bless the righteous; You surround him with favor like a shield.
Psalms 5:12 MEV

God says, “Be holy for I Am Holy”. A holy life is still the best life. When you choose to live a life ruled by Christ Jesus, nurtured by the Word of God (the Bible), and led by the Holy Spirit, you will find yourself experiencing the provision and protection of the Living God.
Your life will be filled with righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

There’s nothing quite like it.

New Birth

for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.    Romans 10:10 MEV

Jesus said that you and I must be born-again or we will never be received by God. We were born to be born-again.

Jesus answered, “Truly, truly I say to you, unless a man is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.  That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’  The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”  John 3:5‭-‬8 MEV

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

John 14:6 MEV

Hope, righteousness, peace and joy are offered to anyone who will repent, yield to God and receive Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Don’t live another day without being in covenant with God in Christ.
