And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. Revelation 17:9 KJV

I want to revisit the thought that there are mountains, places of societal influence, that are controlled by spirits of anti-Christ. These mountains are religion, family, education, government, business, arts & science, and media. Reverend Loren Cunningham and others spoke of this in 1975.

Each are meant to honor, extoll, and glorify God. The highest mountain, around which they stand, and are to serve, is the mountain of God and His Church.

And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.  Isaiah 2:2 KJV

We are living in the last days and are called to restore God’s authority and honor in every sphere of influence.

As important as all the mountains are, and they all are, I believe that we must emphasize the need to quickly reclaim the mountain of education. Specifically, the K through 12 segment of education where young minds are being preyed upon by those educators yielded to the spirit of anti-Christ and his demons.

Beloved, the church and the family must be reinforced by this cadre of educacators. We must pray that Christians will enter this field of service qickly and in great numbers. Our future generations depend upon it.

Called, Chosen, Sent

For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! 1 Corinthians 9:16 KJV

Called, Chosen, and Sent is who I am and who you are. We were bought with a price, the precious blood of Jesus, and, therefore, are not our own.

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20 KJV

Selah (stop and think about that).

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Jams 4:7 KJV

Resisting the devil is futile until you submit yourself to God.

The power released by Christ’s victorious death, burial, and resurrection is only available to the born-again believer that submits himself to the Word of God (the Bible). Once, however, the child of God yields to the Lordship of the Savior the defeat of the devil is guaranteed.

An unsurpassing victory is the reward of loyal obedience. God is the Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

The Fool

It’s April Fool’s Day.

The Bible, in other words, God, says the the fool is one who refuses to acknowledge Jesus as Savior and Lord. To acknowledge His Lordship is to die to self, put on Christ, and live a life of service to Him.

the fool says in his heart, There is no God.

Jesus came to minister and to give His life as a ransom so that we might nor perish, but have eternal life. As professing Christians we are fools to think that we are not called to the same life of sacrificial service.

The fool lives for themselves. Don’t be one. Be one of the wise who builds upon a sure foundation of willing, obedient service to the Lord and for the benefit of others.

Your eternal destiny depends on it.

Prepare Your Heart

Prepare your heart for visitation. Jesus is coming to His Church.

How can we prepare our hearts? Like David we need to go to God; yielded and teachable, willing to be corrected:

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139:23-24 (KJV)

Beloved, it is imperative that we learn to become open and pliable in the hand of the Master Potter. It is He who made us and it is He who has the sole right to order our steps and make us to be what He has purposed in His heart:

But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. Isaiah 64:8 (KJV)

You and I are not our own. We have no right to dictate to God what we will be or what we will do for Him:

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Corinthians 6:20 (KJV)

Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men. 1 Corinthians 7:23 (KJV)

Why would we want to? He who loves us, gave His life for us, shed His blood for us, wants only the best for us, has given us the freedom to yield to, and obey, Him.

We Are Free To Choose

You and I are free to choose whom, or what, we will serve. We are no longer slaves to the sin nature. Jesus set us free!

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. John 8:36 (KJV)

We need to determine, once and for all, to seek and serve God:

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve … : but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15 (KJV)

We say that we want to “know God” and that we want to “serve Him.” If this were really true we would not be so quick to tell Him how to run our lives nor would we get so mad when He determines to do things other than our way.

The choice is clear cut and well defined. We must arise, and go down to the potter’s house to be set back upon the Great Potter’s wheel:

Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words. Jeremiah 18:2 (KJV)

Yielding to the wheel, obeying the touch of the Master’s hand, allowing ourselves to be shaped by our Creator is the choice we must make if ever we are to know Him. It is there, on the potter’s wheel, that we will receive the revelation that we say we so desperately desire. There we will hear Him say,

“I will cause thee to hear My words.”

What Pleases God?

What Pleases God ?

How do you please Him, You may ask? What gives God pleasure? Is there something I can do to please Him?

Oh, yes! Everything you do in faith pleases Him (Heb. 11:6).

But there is another aspect and you might be surprised to know what pleases God and how it comes to be. Look, with me, in the book of Galatians:

But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: Galatians 1:15-16 (KJV)

It pleased God to separate you unto Himself.

You were the object of His love from your mother’s womb. It gave, and still gives, Him pleasure when you live and move in the separation from the world and it’s ways that He gave you. He separated you. You have only to walk in it!

It pleased God to call you.

You may say, “I’m not called.” Oh, yes you are! Every born again child of God, every blood bought Christian, is called by grace. The commission to “Go ye” was not just to the five-fold ministry. It was to those who “believe” (Mark 16:15-20).

It pleased God to reveal His Son in you.

Don’t you know that you are an epistle read of all men. Your life speaks volumes when you let the Holy Spirit demonstrate the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ in and through you.

A Faith Walk in Grace.

It pleased God to save you (1 Corinthians 1:21).

God was pleased when, by the foolishness of preaching, you became a believer and were saved.

In fact, it pleased God to bruise His Son in your place (Isaiah 53:10). The sinless Lamb or God, Jesus, the Christ, God’s Messiah took your place of condemnation and punishment. It was the plan and purpose of God and it still gives Him great pleasure as it prospers in His hand (2 Corinthians 5:21).

It gives God pleasure to make the mystery of His will known to you (Ephesians 1:9.

God purposed in His heart to make the mystery of His will known to you. Press in, seek the treasure that lies hidden just beneath the surface of your Bible studies. He purposed in Himself to show you mysteries (Ephesians 3:20).

It gives God good pleasure to work in you (Philippians. 2:13).

When you allow God to work in you He receives good pleasure. All you have to do is let the Holy Spirit work. God will do the rest (Romans 8:14).

It gives your Father good pleasure to give you the kingdom (Luke 12:32).

You are told to fear not! That should signal you to arise in faith to lay hold of what gives God good pleasure. Faith is always the opposite of fear. You give God pleasure when you receive all of what He has given.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 (KJV)

Renewed Even youths shall faint and be weary, and [selected] young men shall feebly stumble and fall exhausted; But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.

Life is in Him. He renews and refreshes every morning. He makes us able for all things and gives us victory.
