In Him

It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect. Psalms 18:32 KJV

In Him I live and move and have my being. When I am weak He gives me strength. When I consider my ways He counsels and guides me

The Lord is an ever present help in time of trouble and His Word is a wealth of wisdom and instruction.

He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. Deuteronomy 32:4 KJV

Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. Hebrews 13:17 KJV

A true pastor does not choose to be one. The office is not one that is by the choice of man but by the choice and call of God.

A pastor must watch over the souls entrusted to him and is held responsible by God Himself. He is answerable to no man, but is totally accountable to God.

His is a supernatural ministry gift enabled and empowered by none other than the Holy Spirit.

His authority is God given and he is anointed for the task.

Never take it upon yourself to be what God has not called you to be.

But, never run from His call upon your life.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Psalms 23:1‭-‬3 KJV

When the Lord is allowed to guide He promises to provide.
It is the shepherd’s responsibility to lead his sheep to good grazing land and to pools of fresh water. The sheep are totally dependent upon the shepherd for guidance, protection and care.

We, too, beloved Christian, are to be totally dependent upon the Lord, who is “the Good Shepherd”.

As the old song says, “Yield and obey. There’s no other way.”

As we allow the Lord to guide He will always provide.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27 KJV

There is a supernatural inner peace available in Christ Jesus that passes all human understanding. This peace is available in any and every situation.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.  Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;  Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.  Psalms 46:1‭-‬3 KJV

Dear Believer, your God is with you and will lead and  keep you in all your ways.

Ultimately, God is in charge. You can imagine and plan your future but God is able to adjust or change the path you walk on.

The Lord is the Good Shepherd of the sheep and we are the sheep of His pasture. The sons and daughters of God are led by the Spirit of God. Our Father is ever leading, as we allow Him, toward His divine plan for our lives (Jeremiah 29:11). I say, “as we allow Him,” not because He is unable to direct our path but because He has given us the option to resist and rebel or to yield, obey, and follow.

The wise man always seeks direction from the Lord prior to the journey.

There is no better map or GPS to guide you along the way.
