But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31 KJV

“They that wait” are not passively waiting in hopes that God will do something. Believers wait with the expectation of biblical hope. This is hope that has the substance of faith’s claim on biblical promise.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 KJV

The overcoming victory pictured in Isaiah 40:31 is only found in this kind of waiting.

Wait upon the Lord with great expectation the His Word is true and will come to pass.

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Isaiah 55:11 KJV

One Book

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:6‭-‬8 KJV

Many books have been written but only one by the hand of God. This begs the wuestion: Why believe anything else?

Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action),
2 Timothy 3:16 AMPC

The Gospel

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 2 Timothy 4:2 KJV

Preachers have a resposibility to declare the whole truth to the listeners; the whole counsel of God which reproves, rebukes, and exhorts.

The Gospel is not just sweet words that tickle the ears but it is powerful to deliver, cleanse, and make whole.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16 KJV

The tendency of our society to reject anything that makes them uncomfortable is extremely destructive. They are, then, drawn to purveyors of heretical error.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 2 Timothy 4:3 KJV

Be teachable. Yield to the whole counsel of God. Be set free from sin and death.

More Love

Love never fails [it never fades nor ends]. But as for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for the gift of special knowledge, it will pass away.
1 Corinthians 13:8 Amp

More Love – Less Hate

Hate thrives on fear (False Evidence Appearing Real). Fear is the opposite of faith. “Perfect love casts out all fear.”

More Building – Less Destruction

It is easy to destroy things, to tear down, and to waste what is. Building takes vision, willingness to work creatively, and persistence.

More Unity – Less Division

America is not “multicultural,” but it is “multiethnic” united as one culture of people. “E Pluribus Unum” means “out of many, one”.

Skin color is immutable (unchangeable) and only demonstrates one of God’s expressions of uniqueness. No one has the same finger prints nor retinas yet our blood is the same.

We must not allow the rhetoric of atheistic Marxism, Communism, and Socialism to divide us. Love, God’s Love, should bind us together esteeming one another more highly than ourselves, cherishing and enjoying our unique differences and preferences.

Love, God’s Love, Never Fails.

My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. Psalms 89:34 KJV

Do not contradict who the Lord is with your words. His Word is Truth.
When you believe and say words that are contradictory to who God has revealed Himself to be, you dishonor His name.

He is the God who heals us. To say you are not healed or “He will not heal me,” is to contradict His word and dishonor His name (Jehovah Rapha).

To say you will never succeed or prosper is to speak contrary to His word. zit is tantamount to calling God a liar and it dishonors His name (Jehovah Jireh & El Shaddai).

It is written, “You shall not take the Lord’s name in vain”. In other words, don’t say of Him who He has not revealed Himself to be. It dishonors His name.

For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
Jeremiah 17:8 KJV

Let your roots go deep in the Word of God. There is nothing more important for the believer than to be deeply connected to the Word of God (the Bible).

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. John 17:17 KJV

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Psalms 119:11 KJV

The Word of God (the Bible) reveals the very Person of God, His character, His thoughts, and His ways. When hid in the heart the Word of God will transform us and mold us into the God intended image of Christ.

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 1 John 3:2 KJV

Let us be rooted and grounded in love for His living Word.

Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. Amos 3:7 KJV

The Spirit and The Word agree. A true prophet of God is well grounded in the Word of God (the Bible) and is relational with the Spirit of Truth.
Many who claim the office of a prophet are neither and, therefore, are easily deceived by lieing spirits (demons) which are seeking to steal, kill, and destroy.

Hide the Word in your heart and develop your relationship with the Lord. It will help you to discern the truth from a lie.

Be careful who you listen to.

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1 KJV
