Ignorant

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 2 Peter 3:3‭-‬5 KJV

It’s easy to mock and scoff at what you don’t know or understand. It’s demonically inspired to mock and scoff at what you know to be true.

To be ignorant is to have never been taught or to have been taught but to ignore what was taught.

In these last days, many chose to ignore truth. They hear it but reject it so that they can satisfy the dictates of their flesh.

Don’t be one of them.

We will all stand before the Righteous Judge and answer for our choices.

Full

But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, Acts 7:55 KJV

As we set our affections on God and seek His will with a willing and obedient heart we shall see through the veil. The Glorious One will appear in His glory to those steadfastly looking to Him.

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Colossians 3:2 KJV

The Holy Spirit yearns to reveal Jesus to all of humanity. He will ever reveal and declare the glory of God’s only begotten Son.

Embrace the fulness of the Spirit of God and see what completeness He brings.

Shepherd

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Psalms 23:1‭-‬3 KJV

When the Lord is allowed to guide He promises to provide.
It is the shepherd’s responsibility to lead his sheep to good grazing land and to pools of fresh water. The sheep are totally dependent upon the shepherd for guidance, protection and care.

We, too, beloved Christian, are to be totally dependent upon the Lord, who is “the Good Shepherd”.

As the old song says, “Yield and obey. There’s no other way.”

As we allow the Lord to guide He will always provide.

Yielded

Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.  Proverbs 1:23 KJV

Unfortunately, much of the church today is walking in rebellion to the biblical standard set by God. Everyone seems to be doing “what is right in their eyes” and refuse to acknowledge their need for repentance and obedience.

No wonder the church is powerless and using showmanship to gather and keep crowds.
The Holy Spirit’s anointing and susequent revelation comes as we yield to the correction of the Lord. As we do we will experience God’s holy presence, His power, and insight into the mysteries of His kingdom glory.

Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved. Psalms 80:3 KJV

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.  And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

1 John 3:2‭-‬3 KJV

A New You

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. Galatians 6:15 KJV

Start the New Year right. Start with a New You.
New Years resolutions seldom find completion by the end of the year. It is difficult to change old habits with the old you in charge.

To truly change the course of your life you not only need a new “life coach” but you need a new you.

The only way that will happen is for you to yield your life to Jesus Christ by making Him your Savior and Lord.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV

Start the New Year right. Start with a New You. It’s the best decision you will ever make.

Submission

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Jams 4:7 KJV

Resisting the devil is futile until you submit yourself to God.

The power released by Christ’s victorious death, burial, and resurrection is only available to the born-again believer that submits himself to the Word of God (the Bible). Once, however, the child of God yields to the Lordship of the Savior the defeat of the devil is guaranteed.

An unsurpassing victory is the reward of loyal obedience. God is the Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Submit – Resist

Mankind was created by God to have dominion authority over all of creation. Together, under God, they were to fill the earth with righteous seed and live in prosperity and good health.

The first man and woman failed to trust God and broke covenant with Him, allowing sin and its corruption to enter into all their seed. This act of rebellion put all of humanity under the power of the devil and his demonic hordes.

Jesus, the Anointed One, came to restore what was lost and to give whoever would receive Him power and authority over the devil.

Submit, therefore, to God, resist the devil, and he will flee. Jesus defeated the devil and his crowd at the cross on Calvary,  conquering death, hell, and the grave.

Wage the good warfare of Faith and walk in victory every day of your life. Receive Jesus as Lord of lords and King of kings and you will win every spiritual battle and enjoy life and life more abundantly.
